'X' is any number (preferably above five but even one would do) you can come up with. Focus on the important stuff, (i.e. Taxes, Education, Car Insurance, Crime, Emergency Management, Parkway Tolls (NJ), State Spending, Gun Control (VA especially), Partial Birth Abortion, Parental Consent, etc. As an alternative, you can instead write up refutations of the lies being spewed in the Democrat (Warner and McGreevey) ads on the airwaves.
Try to make your list as detailed, as informative but as short and plain-spoken as possible. If you can support your reasons with quotes, stats, historical trends, etc. please do so. You can find these at the websites of the Milton Friedman Foundation, Heritage Foundation, Mackinac Policy Center, American Legislative Exchange Council, etc. Also do not forget to taut your candidate's record where possible. Do NOT, under any circumstances have anything put in mailboxes ... if need be, leave your leaflet on a doorstep. If your child has a newsround, give him the leaflets to deliver with the paper, etc.<blockquote>
