Trafficant has always acted the way he's acting now. When Rush Limbaugh had his TV show, he would run clips of Trafficant's speeches. What a nutball. LOL

I hope they don't get rid of him.

Be careful what you ask for you just may get it. Didn't he vote with Republicans about 90% of the time? Also he is responsible for refurbishing the 910th Air Wing Reserve Base and acquiring 6 new aircraft. The difference between him and every other politician is??? He is a flake but every cloud....

Did anybody see him with that public radio reporter??? Put his arm around him & told him if the got rid of him (Mr. T) they'd be coming to spy on him in his bedroom (him #2=public radio reproter) while he (him #2) was having sex. The reporter couldn't get out from under his (Mr. T's) armlock!! It was hillarious! The reporter acted like he was in Hannibles clutches! images/icons/grin.gif

Paul, Jimmy often spoke against Bubba, but when impeachment vote crunch-time came, he stood with the 'rats.

What he did do to piss them off was to vote for Denny Hastert for Speaker. It was after that that the retaliatory 'rats castrated Jimmy by taking him off his committee assignments.

That is right, Venus but he was the first, if not the only dem Congressman to call for the criminal prosecution of Clinton.

Trafficant's behavior is nothing new for a democrat. Bribes, kickbacks, extortion....all democrats reek of Clinton-esque behavior. By the way, i'm new here, but you'll be seeing me quite often! Hello to all fellow conservatives!

ConservativeJedi, a great big FreeCer welcome to you! We're glad to have you join us.

Sure, Jimmy'd be in the clear by now if he hadn't gone against Clinton-Reno.

He's lucky to be alive.

Trafficant's greatest offense, as far as the Democrats are concerned, is that he broke ranks with them and came out against Bill Clinton in the impeachment. Unlike party boy Torricelli in the Senate, Trafficant has no political allies to cover for him. Besides, in the wake of eight years of Clinton scandals, the Gary Condit scandal, and their efforts to smear George Bush, the Rats very well can't afford to spend political capital on a screwball who habitually votes with Republicans, can they?

I heard an exerpt of Trafficant on Rush this PM on the way back to work and one of the comments he made was that he heard Gephardt predicted a 40 seat pickup in the house followed by the statement if that happens God help the country!

I want to know just what 40 seats he plans on picking up - considering that only 21 of the seats are competitive. This dipshit better worry about winning his own seat in November. images/icons/rolleyes.gif
