I just heard him say it on MSNBC. He didn't say parts of it sunset. He said all of it does.

Problem is WL, the government often seems to ignore its own laws.

Wasnt the War Powers ACT that gives the PResident supra-constitutional authority supposed to have ended with World War 2?

And the Salt 2 Treaty wasnt approved by the Senate, right? But the Executive Branch has been abiding by it anyway, both Dimocrat and Republican, IIRC.

To enforce that sunset provision, we need someone that represents the states at the federal level and since we went to the popular election of Senators, no one represents a state government anymore in the federal system.

Come on War....you aint THAT naive. You got a lot of political savvy. I can tell you right now, the door has been opened.
What Burton said is spin, cause people are questioning the shit.

Treaties are considered to be in effect until the Senate votes on the treaty.
