Judicial Watch is a total sell out. Don't fall for this people. It's just another fund-raising ploy.
This is so stupid. This is the same thing as a Russian suing the Chinese government to do a better job supervising its soldiers because they cross the border sometimes. This is Headline Grabbing 101, while knowing nothing of substance will ever come out of the action.

I know you're right RANDy.

I agree with RANDy. They have so many lawsuits against the Clintons, Reno and a host of others that appear to be mired in tar.

Randy IS right. Judicial Watch is a self-serving noise maker.

JUDICIAL WATCH FILES ETHICS COMPLAINT AGAINST MEMBERS OF SENATE ETHICS COMMITTEE FOR DERELICTION OF DUTY IN TORRICELLI MATTER
Senate Leadership Must Police the Actions of Ethics Committee to Restore Integrity and Public Trust
(Washington, DC) Judicial Watch, the public interest group that investigates and prosecutes government corruption and abuse, said today that it filed a formal ethics complaint with the leadership of the United States Senate – Majority Leader, Senator Tom Daschle (D-SD) and Minority Leader, Senator Trent Lott (R-MS) – as well as with the Chairman of the Senate Select Committee on Ethics, Senator Harry Reid (D-NV) and the Committee’s Ranking Member, Senator Pat Roberts (R-KS). The complaint charges the members of the Senate Select Committee on Ethics with dereliction of duty, and bringing disrepute and dishonor upon the Senate for their handling of the Torricelli bribery affair.
The Senate Select Committee on Ethics issued a “severe admonishment” (sic) to Senator Robert G. Torricelli of New Jersey for violating Senate rules by accepting and failing to disclose expensive gifts [known to most people as bribes] from a contributor to whom Senator Torricelli repeatedly provided special assistance.
Mr. David Chang is the contributor who showered Torricelli in bribes, including a large-screen television set, a compact disc player and expensive earrings for Torricelli’s sister, a close aide and his girlfriend. The Senate Ethics Committee never called Mr. Chang or others as witnesses, and conducted its inquiry of Senator Torricelli in secret, executive session behind closed doors. Ironically, Mr. Chang himself is now in prison for bribing Torricelli with gifts during his 1996 campaign.
Judicial Watch’s formal complaint is addressed to the Senate leadership and the chairman and ranking member of the Senate Select Committee of Ethics for their actions, because these four gentlemen bear the constitutional responsibility for policing the actions of the United States Senate and its membership.
“Torricelli’s slap on the wrist is an arrogant insult to the American people by the “good ole’ boy club” of the Senate. Congressman Traficant was expelled from the House and sent to prison for essentially the same behavior as Torricelli. How can the people trust their government when such blatant corruption and abuse of power gets a pass by the Senators charged with enforcing ethics? The members of the Senate Ethics Committee have disgraced themselves and diminished their credibility and the credibility of the entire Senate. And, the Bush Justice Department is also derelict, in protecting and not prosecuting Torricelli. The American public deserves better,” stated Judicial Watch Chairman and General Counsel Larry Klayman.

Won't be long before we see something like this:
<h1>Due to apparent clerical error, Judicial Watch sues itself; Klayman 'confident of victory'</h1>

What's so funny about Klayman suing himself, RANDy? He might. After all, he sued his mother, didn't he?

Yep, Oracle, except his grandmother died, which left nobody to benefit from any potential judgment against his mother except himself as the plaintiff. His brother, Steven, said he was 'disappointed' about his brother filing the suit, and declined to comment further when the press asked him more about the suit, stating, "I don't want to be sued, too."
