GREELEY - The highest-ranking Hispanic in the House of Representatives on Sunday said Rep. Tom Tancredo is out of line for demanding the deportation of an Aurora honors student.
"It's amazing that in a time of threats of terrorism we would have the INS focused on an honors student and his family rather than those who are in the country to do us harm," said Rep. Robert Menendez, D-N.J.
When should they focus? It's obvious that they never focused before 9/11! Congressman the person you want to protect is ILLEGAL!! Get it! He's breaking the damn law!!
He was in Greeley to stump for State Sen. Stan Matsunaka, a candidate for the 4th Congressional District seat.
"Mr. Tancredo's priorities are out of whack with the rest of the country's," Menendez said.
Really?? Just because you don't give a damn about illegals doesn't mean the rest of us follow that line of thinking.
...
Apodaca spoke publicly last month about the difficulty of paying for college as an illegal immigrant.
Someone please tell me why someone that is in this country ILLEGALLY should receive the same rights as those that are citizens? He's not a resident of the state, he's ILLEGAL!! What is so hard to understand??

I am sick of hearing these people minimize the issue of ILLEGALS! It is estimated that there are 10 million illegals in this country. That 10,000,000 that pay no taxes, want free medical care, and the same rights as citizens. Let them apply for legal status, and pay taxes like everyone else. images/icons/mad.gif images/icons/mad.gif images/icons/mad.gif
