I need some help.
I'm in the process of converting my democratic e-girlfriend and I desperately need some good, solid sources to back up my arguement. My seasoned searching abilities have turned up next to squat, the best sources I can find are:

The Jimmy Carter Library wasn't much help at all.
Basically, she has the typical dem opinion that there was some dirty, underhanded deal between Reagan and the Ayahtollah.
I maintain that the whole thing was meant to be a slap-in-the-face to Carter by the Ayahtollah, there was no way Reagan could've made a deal and negotiated thier release all before bedtime on the day of his inauguration. The deal was made, mediated by Algeria, between the '80 election and the inauguration. I just need to be able to proove it to her.
