You have a good head on your shoulders for a very, very, very youngman. Some say that widsom comes with old age, not ture in your case. BTW what really comes with old age is hearing loss, aches and pains, vision in the toilet, no hair, and a host of other problems I won't go into here.
Keep up the excellent posts.

I graduated High School in 1982 hehehehe
In 1977 I watched Star Wars 7 1/2 times hehehe I still remember that, snuck out to the outdoor theater to see the last half part of Star Wars again! lol.
Got my first car in 1978. LOL it was a 1978 Ford Mercury Bobcat, two-door with a full-glass hatchback, white car with red, orange and yellow stripes, having orange & yellow plaid bucket seats, and 8-track stereo with two speakers that puts all these fancy boom boxes to shame, and black floor & dash images/icons/smile.gif
I started collecting comic books since 1974 hehehee
Got my very first FM Radio in 1969 THE Best Time of Rock N Roll Baby!!!
I remember the American Bandstand, Laugh-In, Mod Squad, Batman, Giligans Island, Captain Ramjet (cartoon) Lost in Space, The original Star Trek episodes. Hippies, love-ins, the Moon Landing, and a war called Vietnam.

Maggie,
Go easy on us Aquarians! We're the sensitive type. images/icons/smile.gif I think I like this description better:
"Well, there's no denying the "eccentric bit". People born under this sign are fiercely proud of their idiosyncrasies. In truth though, their disposition is the very antithesis of ambivalent. They are highly sensitive souls who care deeply about the people around them. It's because they are so inwardly vulnerable that they hide their feelings behind a mask of indifference. They fear that if they ever let it slip, they may never restore it. For much the same reason, Aquarians are sociable. They figure, as long as they are making pleasant, easy conversation or discussing ideas rather than emotions, they will be able to distract others from the true intensity of their passionate hearts."
I always refer to myself as just a flighty, flakey Aquarian. And leave it at that. It drives the idiots away and intrigues the not-so-faint at heart enough to stick around for awhile. Mission accomplished!

Yes, well, I like to discuss ideas. Mind you, depending on who I discuss them with, it can hardly be described as "pleasant conversation," or even "easy" for that matter. And I can seldom distract people from the "true intensity of my passionate heart," which means I'm sometimes terribly opinionated. images/icons/frown.gif

May 10, 1969 ... Yep the summer of love and a taurus to boot. I was born a contradiction.
According to the link to the astronomy pagy Taurus :They are stable, balanced, conservative good, law-abiding citizens and lovers of peace, possessing all the best qualities of the bourgeoisie. As they have a sense of material values and physical possessions, respect for property and a horror of falling into debt, they will do everything in their power to maintain the security of the status quo and be somewhat hostile to change.-Which I agree with.
On rare occasions a Taurean may be obstinately and exasperatingly self-righteous, unoriginal, rigid, ultraconservative, argumentative, querulous bores, stuck in a self-centered rut. They may develop a brooding resentment through nursing a series of injuries received and, whether their characters are positive or negative, they need someone to stroke their egos with a frequent, "Well Done!" - Which I would like to disagree with .

To tell the truth, it's about 8 years old. It's the only picture of myself that I've ever liked. Since y'all REALLY NEED TO KNOW, the year is (drumroll please) 1959. I am only 4' 7" because of a chromosomal disorder, so I look younger than I am.

Although no one is totally perfect, each person is a little perfect in their own special unique ways. Those unique facets may be "defects" or "disorders" to some, but they are still just another way that God makes us special by being unique. We may not always agree with what we're handed, but each is a gift in it's own special way. Being short may be a result of some "disorder", but how you deal with it in life need not be negative. That was my only point. Delight in being unique and special in your own way. If you think otherwise, it won't change the hand you were dealt, and will only hinder the enjoyment of a life that's too precious to waste by being down.

Rhino: Thanks for the kind words! After 41 years, I'm used to the challenges of my lack of height. I caught a lot of flack when I was a kid, so you learn to have a sense of humor about it or you go nuts. Still debatable over which way it went for me! images/icons/smile.gif Maggie: LOL about vertically challenged! I'm used to it too. Though I don't like heels images/icons/wink.gif

Ahem...
In case anyone missed it on the first page.. (not that this is a hint or anything)...
My birthday is Sept 5th images/icons/grin.gif
Now, for anyone that may be counting...
That is exactly 7 days from today. images/icons/grin.gif
NOT that I want anyone to notice or anything.
I just thought that you may want to know..that MY BIRTHDAY is SEPTEMBER 5th!!!
k?
That would be the day after the 4th and the day before the 6th of September.
I'm not looking for any attention that day though....at all...
really...i'm not
at all
k, well not much anyway.
I won't mention that it is a very special birthday too. I get to become 29 again.
I mean really...how many times do you get to do that? Two whole years in a row. After all..NEXT year (when I turn 29 again) it won't be anything like when it happened the second time.
K, so..
Thursday, SEPTEMBER 5th
You're welcome to put it on your calendar just for the hell of it.
Ya know what?... I actually INSIST that you put it on your calendar so that someone can remind me (in case I forget). Wouldn't that stink? Forgeting your own birthday? We can't have that, can we?

When I was working for AF Recruiting Service, the Flight Chiefs liked me to come in and talk to the DEPpers during Commander's Call.
I realized that I had been in the AF longer than most of them had been alive.
Made for a bad revelation.
Nowadays, the local recruiter likes to have me come in and talk to them. I start off with "November 15th, 1978, who remembers it?" I let them know that's the date I entered active duty, and I remember every detail.
Just for the record, I'm trying to reach my old TI and thank him for the things he taught me, and gave me. I got to see the world, and met Mrs Lobo thanks to him.
If anyone knows Sgt Tom Smoak (he's likely retired now too), let him know that I'd like to reach him. He can email me at etxlobo@yahoo.com
