The dreary weather coupled with an intense project have severly cut into my range time . For this case, I purchased an air rifle so that I can practice almost anywhere.
The one I got is more of a field piece than a target model (serious recoil, it will ruin any cheap rifle scope)but its still capable of fine accuracy. Using the crude rear leaf sight, I made a 10 shot group last night tat was .23" overall! That's 0.06" CTC over the regulation 10 meter distance or 1/2 MOA! Not bad shooting for old presbyopic eyes here!
The power is impressive. For giggles, I filled an aluminum beverage can with water and set it out 50 feet from my back porch using a good backstop. The flat nosed pellet (H&N match, .177 7.2 gr)completely ripped the can from top to bottom and splayed it open 2"! This looked just like the old CCI Stinger advert that ran in magazines back in the 1970! Over the traps, my target pellets run 1120 ft/second!
Its illegal to hunt game animals in TX with an air rifle but rabbits aren't! Elmer Fudd, here we come! Shusss! Be verwy quiet! I'm hunting rabbits huhuhuhuhuhuhuh!
Now once I get a few coins together, I will install a Williams FP apeture rear and guarded front so it sights like my AR15. Great service rifle practice!

I shoot a plain pneumatic pump pellet gun and rifle when i can't go into the country. In case anybody is interested in pistol shooting, I believe the main thing to watch is the pull on the trigger. You have to make sure it is squeezed without making the gun barrel deviate from its aim point. A good way to do this is to tape a laser pointer (lit) to the barrel, aim the point at a picked target, and keep the point at that spot until the trigger goes click. Yes, make sure it goes click and not BANG! Heh heh.

Practice makes perfect. Shot a 1/2 MOA group tonight. That's equivalent to landing all my shots within a 5" circle at 1000 meters meaning I could pith you at 500 meters if you posed a threat. For those unaware, I can keep my shots in a Lifesaver candy hole at 33 feet and not nick the candy. Aspirin are also easy targets.
But then again I wouldn't see any effect since you already only have function in your brain stem. That is, if you presented a threat at that distance. You are harmless at muzzle length and the only problem you offer is your bark. Woof! Down doggie.

Oh! I get it, Padre. No no no. Don't worry if your hands are too small for a full-sized gun, like a .44 Magnum. Anybody can learn to handle one of those monsters quite capably if one practices how to hold the gun.

My air rifle is an RWS 48. Made in Germany and tipping the scales at 3.4 kg (7.5 lb). Real walnut stock, blued steel barrel and natural rubber recoil pad.
I've used it in the field to hit aluminum cans at over 100 yards. It packs a punch even at those distances. My smallest rifle tips the scales at over 2.72kg and none of my pistols are lighter than 1.1 kg.
Nothing small about my collections.

I can differentiate between my rifle and my gun. One's for shooting, the other fun except not with altar boys. Your sister, that's another story all together. I'm sure to get in line first as to avoid sloppy seconds, thirds or however many she does to keep your crack habit satisfied.

No, you are mistaken. No kids touched and never will. The greatest age difference I've gone with was a 21 year-old when I was 26. That's not too bad in any book. Nothing below 17 when I was in highschool. And nothing but sweet young women that turned wild! Now looking for a real lady.....has to be conservative, smart and well heeled. No bowsers need apply so your sister is out of the running.

The Seven Dwarves were requesting an audience with the Pope. When the day came, the first dwarf ask the Pope if there were any Black nuns. "Sure, we have Black nuns". #2 asks if there are any midget Black nuns. "Very well could be" the Pope responds. Then the third one asks if there are any of these in Antartica. The Pope responds "No, there are no nuns in Antartica".
