My daughter's computer was infested with this nasty worm last week, even though we had the latest updates to our anti virus program running. It appears she got it from Limewire downloads. I tried everything to get rid of it but no luck, so it was reformat and reload software time yesterday. I did download SP2 for XP and got it installed.

Anyone else had this worm hit their PC?

As for your AV, which one are you using? I recommend EZ-Armor suite from Computer Associates over all others.

I advise not using Limewire, Kazaa. ShareBear etc. for downloading. The only P2P client that I can recommend that does not come with spyware and have every other file coming with a virus is WinMX.
