How do I set my preferences to not keep subscribing me to every thread I post on????

As it is I have to manually go into my 'User CP' and manually unsubscribe myself from every thread I post on, and its getting just a weee tad annoying to say the least.

Can anyone help me on re-setting that so I wont have to worry bout automatic subscribing to every thread I post on???

Purty Please???

Under your User CP look for "Default Thread Subscription Mode"
There is a pull down box and it gives you the option to not subscribe to threads.

Sorry, I left out you need to go to User Options once you enter your User CP and THEN look for Default Thread Subscription Mode.

Okay. I give up. What does that subscription thing mean? Subscribe to what thread for whom for what reason? This computerese language is confusing.

WHOAH! I was reading the FAQs, and is that what it says? That I can attach a jpeg or other valid file from MY hard drive to a thread?

Hey mom y'know I COULD scan a pic of your grandkids that ya gave me and post it someday :D

Sup ta you.

O and Wolfie, subscribing to a thread means every thread ya posted on, you go to your 'user CP' and you will see all the threads you have been on, if you dont want clutter then follow the instructions on how to unsubscribe.

I got enuf clutter with 1488 pm's to clean out, and my irritating ISP isnt helping when they have outages constantly every time i go here grrrrr

Thanks, Rink. I'll get the hang of this, I think. What about pasting files from one's hard drive, instead of from a URL?
