Awesome NT thank you. It's weird how now EVERYTHING for me is not "before I was married" or "before I had kids" instead it's, did it happen "before 9/11" or "after 9/11".

Here is a tribute I put together a couple of years ago. It is not live on my site at the moment, but you can still view it here:
http://www.nosferatuscoffin.com/911Tribute/911Tribute.html

For dial-up users, be patient, as it might be a good 30-60 seconds for you to load it. I need to port this over to a Flash movie so it will run faster and take less space.

:sulk: Dude, you are totally bereft of a clue. This isn't about "revenge". What you fail to understand is that had we not retaliated, our enemies would have hit us again. If we back off & give them an opportunity to rebuild, we'll have to repeat 9/11. Next time, it will be far worse. By going after our enemies, we are taking care of ourselves.

Revenge? No this is a war. We were attacked and people died, no different than 12/7/41. The kiss and make up mentality of the left is evident in your post. There is no kiss and make up with terrorists, only death - theirs.

Get real. If you need evidence that we can't abandon the War on Terror until we win it, these photos are more than the iron-clad evidence you need. The War on Terror (really World War IV) is not even half over. Abandoning it now would be tantamount to abandoning World War II following the completion of the North Africa campaign.

Of course, with the complete ignorance of history you have shown here, you probably know nothing about World War II and don't have a clue about the point I made in the last sentence in the above paragraph.

Row, I can't help but add my criticism to all the above.

This "let's kiss and make up" attitude of yours is embarassing. You really should stop listening to the democRATS, my friend. They're filling your brain with the kind of do-nothing, defeatist attitude they are notorious for.

Has it ever occured to you that "caring for ourselves" implies making sure that 9/11 never, EVER happens again, and that turning the other cheek is NOT the way to go about preventing it?

Going to war was NOT an act of revenge, my naive, simple-minded friend. It was to show those bastards that they cannot fly planes into buildings and kill 3,000 innocent people without us reacting to it ... of course, it takes a president with a pair to do that. I tremble to think what would have happened if Gore was at the helm. I'd probably be forced to wear a burkha now.

You linguini-spined peaceniks disgust me. Pardon the brutal honesty.

We must make sure that Bush wins or all those brave men fighting will be forced to surrender and the rest of your son's life will be devoted to bowing to the Islamofascists of the world. :sulk:

I should have said "Add" to the Political Nos site. When it is done, it will have the forum, blog, nos toons and other things in it. For now, only the forum portion is live now.

I just have been too busy juggling ot her projects and have not had a lot of motivation to get it done. Hopefully, soon though. :)

Maggie_T

Bump indeed.

I cannot believe that some people have forgotten what the WoT is all about. I cannot take anymore of this "AW, the war is lasting too long" whinning. People who complain about that are like little spoilt children with short attention spans, who are constantly asking "Are we there yet?"

It will be a long time before "we are there." This is a war unlike any other. It will be long and difficult.

Another anniversary of 9/11 is at our door. I hope that the pampered, spoilt, impatient brats at least have the decency to remember those who innocent people who died, as well as those who died helping them, and the heroes that fight to prevent this from happening again.

Kathy29
08-20-2006, 12:48 PM
I hope the pampered spoiled brats realize that it was 8 years between the first attack in 1993 and the one in 2001. Both occurred shortly after a presidential inauguration. Three time's the charm.

ABC's 'The Path to 9/11'

"The Path to 9/11" is fast-paced and thoroughly gripping the entire way. The five-hour miniseries (aired over two nights) is based on the 9/11 Commission report, and also on ABC News correspondent John Miller’s book, "The Cell."

ABC is going to air the first three hours on Sunday, September 10, and the final two hours (which culminate in a shattering depiction of 9/11) on Monday, September 11.

Let me start by saying that "The Path to 9/11" is one of the best, most intelligent, most pro-American miniseries I've ever seen on TV, and conservatives should support it and promote it as vigorously as possible....

Considering the lack of response to this thread, maybe we really HAVE forgotten 9/11.

On the five year anniversary, not one co-worker mentioned 9/11.
Not one store clerk mentioned anything.
Not one person that I spoke with on the 5 year anniversary mentioned this fateful day. In fact, I read more about it in foreign newspapers than here in USA. What in the heck is wrong with people in our country?

Not at all. There have been 1,000 views of this thread since I originally started this thread. That means that people are concerned enough about 9/11 and my photo essay to view it 1,000 times.
