Had grilled vegees again tonight. Anyone else grill vegees?

I bought one of those grill woks (sometimes called grill basket), looks like a wok but has holes in it. I cut up vegetables like peppers, zucchini, onions, mushrooms, etc. in large chunks. Toss in a bowl with olive oil and your favorite seasoning and then put them in the wok and let them sizzle tossing them every minute or so. Tonight we added broccoli flowerets. I've also done cherry tomatoes and yellow squash. Next time I'll try some cauliflower.

I have occasionally. I really like my broccoli steamed with chicken broth and oddly enough Molly McButter. I didn't think I would like fake butter, but I tried it when I was dieting after one of kids were born and I haven't used anything else since. It doesn't have a greasy feel and with the broth the flavor is fantastic.

You do them over charcoal right? That's the way we do them too and sometimes add mushrooms and right before they're done we put shrimp on skewers and baste them with garlic butter also. Yum.
