My Permissions are Screwy!

I can't get into the Arcade, and I can't view various threads for forums. Anyone else having these issues or did I do something to piss somebody off. :hissyfit: :D

Are you getting an error message when you try to access these areas or are you just being returned to the page you were at?

Have you cleaned out your cache and cookies recently? It is possible that that either the cache is choking your browser or an FC cookie is corrupt.

Also, do you have a spyware removal tool, such as Spy Sweeper? You might want to give that a scan as a piece of spyware could be trying to redirect you to another page.

I cant get into the arcade either, I just figured yall didnt like me anymore.

I'm on an I_Mac so spyware isn't an issue. I cleared my cache and reset Safari just now, so everythings back to square one, but still, when I click on the arcade I get this message:

Your user account may not have sufficient privileges to access this page. Are you trying to edit someone else's post, access administrative features or some other privileged system?


If you are trying to post, the administrator may have disabled your account, or it may be awaiting activation.


In my experience with this software, the only thing I can think of is the persmissions are set wrong for a set of users, and it sounds like it isn't just me.

Just for giggles I switched over to Firefox and still get the same message, so it's on that end.

The transition to the vB software resulted in a number of members with permission problems for various forums. Anyone with that problem can PM one of the admins and it will be TCO.

Yeah I missed this for a couple of days. It was an easy fix once I knew about it.
