Using the Standard Editor:
1) What is the difference betweeen Guided Mode and Enhanced Mode?
2) What does "Close Current Tag" mean?
3) What does "Close All Tags" mean?
4) On the last 2, there is an "X" in the circle next to those statements. What happens if I remove an "X"?

1) What is the difference betweeen Guided Mode and Enhanced Mode? From the vB website:
Guided Mode pops up a box when you click a button asking what you want to be input in that style. Enhanced Mode simply inserts an opening tag, you do your typing, then click the button again and a closing tag is inserted.Guided Mode and Enhanced Mode (http://www.vbulletin.com/forum/showthread.php?t=87284)
2) What does "Close Current Tag" mean?
3) What does "Close All Tags" mean?In the first case, if you have, for example, the "bold" tag open, clicking "Close Current Tag" will add the closing [/b] code. It will close the last-opened tag if more than one is open.
In the second case, "Close All Tags" will close all currently open nested tags in the proper reverse order.
4) On the last 2, there is an "X" in the circle next to those statements. What happens if I remove an "X"?Not sure what you mean by that, but the "X" is the equivalent of the "X" button at the top right corner of browser windows. It merely indicates closing.

Also, as for closing tags, you can also hit the little yellow box to insert an image URL which will also insert the opening IMG tag, then click it again to close the IMG tag.
Same thing with the small blue globe icon, which does the same thing for inserting site URLs.

The best way to familiarize onself with them is to start clicking and see what happens. Here's what they do, in order.

Thanks DD & nos. I understand the

because it's similar to Microsoft Word. The Enhanced Mode works as advertised and so do the Close Tags buttons.
