Letter on Voter Intimidation to AFL-CIO President John Sweeney (http://www.georgewbush.com/news/Read.aspx?ID=3874)
Dear Mr. Sweeney:
Over the past several weeks, acts of violence and vandalism have occurred at Republican and Bush-Cheney campaign headquarters across the country. In addition to the injuries, property damage and disruption associated with these acts, these events have created a threatening and intimidating atmosphere abhorrent to our democratic process.
On October 5th, according to news reports, witnesses, police reports and admissions of your members, the AFL-CIO, as part of a national strategy, protested at more than a dozen of our campaign and party headquarters across the country. In many locations, the protestors attempted to enter, or entered, campaign or party facilities. As one protestor said, "Actually, we're storming into an office." In Orlando, Florida, injuries and damage were sustained. Protestors forced their way into the facility, fracturing the arm of one staffer, and vandalized the office. In Michigan, protestors entered a headquarters and engaged in activities apparently intended to disrupt volunteers trying to make phone calls. (Emphasis added)

The RNC sent a letter to the DNC to stop the violence, voter intimidation and vandalisim.
The response was the republican office in Spokane being vandalized.
Yet, it's the democrats screaming about vote suppression and voter intimidation.
Have you checked with your local police department? I did. I checked with the police department of the city I live in. I'm glad I did. Because my city unilaterally raised our threat level to orange or "guarded". Why? Because of threatened democrat violence at polling places. Isn't that interesting.
About those foreign observers.... Will they report the truth? Will they say that demcrats are breaking arms, shooting and forcing election workers to lock themselves into back offices.
Where the heck is the FBI?

What the hell is wrong with Democrats?
They do this to RNC offices, they trashed Al Gores office in 2000 and they took all the W's off the computer keyboards. What infantile idiots. Kerry must be very proud of his voter base huh?

President Bush's campaign office in Spokane burglarized, vandalized (http://seattletimes.nwsource.com/html/localnews/2002059735_webbushoffice11.html)
Offices that house President Bush's re-election campaign in Spokane were broken into and vandalized last night, the latest in a string of crimes at Republican offices across the country.
Workers arriving this morning found a hole smashed through the wall from an adjacent, vacant office. Bush campaign officials say a small amount of petty cash is missing and a computer and television had been moved and left near the hole.
"They must have gotten spooked because they ultimately left the computer and TV," said Bill Hyslop, the campaign's chairman for the Fifth Congressional District.
The computer and the TV had recently arrived in Spokane and the computer was loaded with information from the Republican get-out-the vote program.
Spokane police responded this morning and took the computer's monitor and the TV, Hyslop said.

After hearing skerry mouth off today, his campaign is becoming very trashy toward the Republicans! I wonder who are the demRATS behind the ugliness of skerry?
The DemRATS aren't to smart when trashing the GWB campaign offices. It is intuitively obvious to the most casual observer who is doing the trashing! Duh!

Bush-Cheney '04 has created a hotline for victims of voter intimidation to report what happened. The hotline, 1-888-303-7125, will begin operation at 11:00 a.m. today.
This is getting serious enough that maybe the media will start airing it.
I doubt the letter to Sweeney will do any good--union goons have a long history of violence and intimidation: just ask Jimmy Hoffa.

Second break-in hits a Bush office in state
By David Postman
Seattle Times chief political reporter
The offices housing President Bush's Spokane campaign operation were broken into yesterday, the second burglary in as many weeks at state Bush offices.
A small amount of cash was taken after someone apparently kicked a hole through a wall from an adjacent, vacant office. But a television and a computer appeared to have been the target and were left behind on the floor, according to the Spokane Police Department. Police said most of the equipment was too big to fit through the hole in the wall.
The staff said the computer was loaded with confidential get-out-the-vote records. But, officer Dan Cole pointed out in a press release, "If they were after records, just the [computer] tower could have been taken through the hole."
Campaign workers suspect the thief was startled by something and left the intended loot behind.
On Oct. 1, three computers were taken in a break-in at the Bush campaign's office in Bellevue.
The break-ins happened amid other reports of crimes and altercations at Bush campaign offices in other states, and vandalism at some John Kerry offices around the country.
Yesterday, Bush national chairman Marc Racicot said that in the final weeks of the presidential campaign, Republicans and Democrats need to work to avoid a political atmosphere that could encourage more incidents.
"It's everyone's responsibility to provide constant reminders that — even though people feel strongly — the safety and security of everyone, of every stripe, is protected," Racicot said.
Racicot said there needs to be a "national discussion about this." He said he does not blame Democratic groups for the incidents.

No gawddamned wonder the RNC was useless when he was in charge.
