What a bunch of freaking nutcakes.
Damn, they really got their panties in a twist, its quite enjoyable, Bush won, fairly, by almost 4 MILLION votes, yet they still can't accept it, they're in the WORST possible stages of denial, its like they want to wish it to be so. What a bunch of losers. It's going to be sweet watching them having to swallow another 8-12 years of GOP Presidents. The way these wackos are going, they will scare off any sensible, rationally thinking person, so that in less than 15 years, the Democrats will go the way of the Whig Party! Freaking wierdos!!!!!!!!
"revolution, revolution, kill bush, we must take it back."
"we wuz robbed!"
BLAH, take a Zoloft and shut the hell up!

These people can't accept reality.
Maybe they'll be lucky and John Kerry will make a
guest appearance on The West Wing.
John Kerry and Martin Sheen, that's like liberal-pinko rapture!!!!!!!!!

GW could have won by 25,000,000 and the lunatics would still complain. They need a Thorazine drip to keep them quite, lobotomy might be nice too.
Nah forget the zoloft Thorazine et al, give em valium and plenty of it.

Drugs are expensive and we'd have to raise taxes. Lobotomies are one time, and if it's botched who cares.

:roar: Now that's the best idea yet. And if it is botched, they'll be too stupid to sue.
But on what else is amusing is that the Libs even started the voting machines off in Philadelphia with 7,000 votes or so and STILL lost. See, they even screw up cheating!
Heck if ya wanna do the lobotomy thing, why not make it completely permanent and give em complete dignity...
Emply Dr Kevorkian to 'help' them in their sorrows.

I'm a liberal and George W Bush is president......oh woe is me............
WAH-WAH-WAH..............I don't think we'll ever hear the end of it.
I like it though, the more they keep complaining and whining, the better the
GOP looks and the longer the Dems will be out of power.
SO WAH WAH WAH WAH WAH WAH WAH WAH
to your hearts content, nobody cares!

WIth a Good Nail Gun we could average 500 Lobotomy's an hour. That is with using 3 nails per idiot. Seems like a fast efficient and cheap method to me.
ah hek I say let ole Kevorkian out to help the lot of them, the libs would be payin the old coot to do em in.

The biggest disappointment to me is that the Democratic
party back inthe day, really was the party of the people.
Now they're just a shadow of what they once were.
The collapse of the Socialist and Communist parties led to them
overloading the Democratic Party with their nonsense, and now
what was once a great party, a party of the people, has become
the Democratic Communists of America. Its ridiculous,
the whole party has been hijacked and yet all these liberals are
droning on and on. Communism has been tried enough times over
history and I'm afraid to say its track record is not very impressive.
DOWN WITH COMMUNISM!
DOWN WITH SOCIALISM!
DOWN WITH FACISM!
DOWN WITH 'DEANISM'(A gut-wrenching, terrifying combo of
the three.)
YES TO GOOD OLE' AMERICAN DEMOCRACY
GOD BLESS AMERICA AND OUR LEADERS!

That's true, then it would be a colonoscopy.
Rink lobotomies are permanent, brain cells don't grow back.
True Yes but someone would then have to take care of the lobotomized
If though you let ole Kevorkian out to assuage their miseries with his own works, that too would be just as permanent, and then nobody would have to spend money for their care and upkeep.
Less muss or fuss and its cheaper I think, since after all those despondent would pay Kevorkian to do what he does best.... which is do em in with dignity so they wont hafta be despondent no more.

I agree, the democrats that are getting all freaked out about these machine malfunctions are going way overboard. I mean, Kerry wasn't even that different from Bush, so why are they being cry-babies? I'm definitely glad Bush won by as huge a margin as he did. If the race had been any closer, I don't even want to imagine the hysteria that would ensue...
However, even though these machine errors didn't affect the outcome, it still would be nice to have an error-free election, as it really should be. I mean, there's no excuse for a first-world country like us to be having voting problems. Hopefully they'll get the glitches fixed by the next election.
Take care?

yea but I mean after the lobotomy. Someones gotta take care of them for the rest of their natural mindless life.
With Kevorkian ya dont hafta worry bout any of that and he makes money by it also :D
Course they COULD employ Kevorkian AFTER the lobotomy to 'put them outta their misery' *shrugs*

True, the country is one of the largest in the world. Although, consider this: The error in that one precinct in Ohio was, what, around 4,000 votes? What if something like that had happened in Florida in 2000 in Gore's favor? With such a razor thin margin (568 votes, I think) such a machine error would have put Gore in the White House!!!!
I think there will almost always be minor unforseen problems, but we need to constantly work on making it better, and try to detect problems ahead of time as best we can. Many of the electronic voting problems this election, such as the memory drives running out of space and discarding votes, or the one in one Florida precinct that began counting backwards after reaching 32,000 votes could have been detected ahead of time if these machines had been properly tested. At the end of the day, I don't think it is unreasonable for every single vote to be counted in the nation, if we create backup copies of votes and backup databases and such.
Not that this election was poorly run, or anything. It takes a tremendous amount of effort to pull a gargantuan task like this off. I think the margin of error would be acceptable for many countries, but I think we can do a little better, and I think we will do better next time with the computer problems. Now that these machines have an election under their belt, and since all of the glitches have been made apparent, hopefully things will be flawless next election.

Why can't they implement a paper trail? All it requires is the machines do some internal printing on paper. That way noone can fiddle the computer data when it is all put together. Well they can, but it would show up when people later checked out the paper trail. It's a simple way to make an easy method of fraud much harder.
