UC Berkeley prof proves Bush stole election!!!

University of California at Berkeley ^ | 11/18/2004 | Michael Hout

SOURCE : http://ucdata.berkeley.edu/new_web/VOTE2004/index.html

Summary:

- Irregularities associated with electronic voting machines may have awarded 130,000 excess votes or more to President George W. Bush in Florida.

- Compared to counties with paper ballots, counties with electronic voting machines were significantly more likely to show increases in support for President Bush between 2000 and 2004. This effect cannot be explained by differences between counties in income, number of voters, change in voter turnout, or size of Hispanic/Latino population.

- In Broward County alone, President Bush appears to have received approximately 72,000 excess votes.

- We can be 99.9% sure that these effects are not attributable to chance.

Statistical Analysis - the Sole Method for Tracking E-Voting - Shows Irregularities May Have Awarded 130,000 - 260,000 or More Excess Votes to Bush in Florida

Research Team Calls for Investigation

BERKELEY, Calif., Nov. 18 /PRNewswire/ -- Today the University of California's Berkeley Quantitative Methods Research Team released a statistical study - the sole method available to monitor the accuracy of e- voting - reporting irregularities associated with electronic voting machines may have awarded 130,000-260,000 or more excess votes to President George W. Bush in Florida in the 2004 presidential election.

Researchers at the University of California, Berkeley, said today that they have uncovered statistical irregularities associated with electronic voting machines in three Florida counties that may have given President George W. Bush 130,000 or more excess votes. The researchers are now calling on state and federal authorities to look into the problems.

Anything to stir up controversy. Can't this ******* and others just deal with Bush's re-election and move on?

Using those same set of so-called "facts," it could be shown that perhaps Kerry was awarded many more votes than he actually received. What a dumbass! Furthermore, the president doesn't steal, unlike his predecessor and his predecessor's wife, who are known to have stolen furniture from the White House and Air Force One upon their departures.

"Unexplained"?

How about, "People voted for Bush because Kerry was a forking idiot"?

Using those same set of so-called "facts," it could be shown that perhaps Kerry was awarded many more votes than he actually received.Precisely so, but the jerkoff is a Berserkely prof, meaning he's a hyper-leftist.

The asswipes don't like paper ballots. They don't like electronic voting. What they want is a voting method that assures a RAT victory no matter how the people actually vote.

The liberal arseholes will never let it die. They are philosophically incapable of accepting defeat. One hopes that if the dickhead presses the issue, the courts will tell him to piss off and get on with life.

There must be a study somewhere that proves the incidence of APP (Acid Per Professor) is higher at Berkeley than anywhere else across this fruity plain.

~AetharielHey Aetheriel!! We never said it was wrong because it came from a Berkley prof., we said it was wrong because it was stupid. We questioned the profs. objectivity due to a huge historical precedence that basically states that Berkley is a VERY liberal college and college profs. have VERY strong tendency to be liberals. When you combine these two facts with a statement that is so obviously flawed and pointedly opposed to the election of PRESIDENT GEORGE W. BUSH, you are able to draw the conclusion that this loser is pursuing a political agenda and not maintaining the scientific objectivity he should be keeping. Now we may be wrong, but if it waddles, quacks and makes ducklings, it's a pretty safe assumption that it's a _ _ _ _ (I'll let you fill in the blanks).

Uh-huh, despite the fact that the study explicitly states that, even given the maximum possible alleged error, it doesn't call into question the statewide results in favor or Bush, or the general election. Of course, I imagine most of you intellectually-honest folks actually read the abstract and simply drew bizarrely inaccurate conclusions, and didn't simply jump to man your regular stupid positions without even reading the study first.

Aethariel pssssssssst Bush won. Get over it. Get a life. Don't worry. Be happy and all that rot.

Psst, morons, I never said he didn't, and I even conceded quite explicitly in an earlier thread that he won it fair and square, and congratulated the regulars of this board on their man's victory. This might be hard, but try approaching the real world without your rose-tinted lenses for once, hmm? You'd be surprised that everyone doesn't meet your puerile stereotypes and beliefs.

Ya'll are going to be in a shock when Kerry wins by a sizable margin...

Shock, followed shortly by name-calling, sour grapes, accusations of cheating, and likely many dire predictions of doom. Oh, well. That's what ye get for trusting your "heart" over zee cold, brutal power of scientific calculation. AhhhhHhh...yes...
