For those of you seeking a nice, inexpensive gift to give those special people who aren't necessarily family and friends (like Sunday School teachers, your local librarian, the cashier at the city Dollar store, the next door neighbor, etc.) I have a wonderful gift idea, and it's even easy enough for your kids to help out in the making.

Homemade Bath Salts -
1 pkg Epsom Salts
1/2 pkg Sea Salt
1/4 pkg Baking soda
Essense of Oil (any scent preference)
Food Coloring (any color prefenence)
A Glass Container
A Doily
A Tea Lite Candle
Ribbon

Mix THOROUGHLY Epsom Salts, Sea Salt, and Baking Soda. Add a few drops of food coloring, and mix, mix, mix, until the color is evenly distributed (add as much color as needed to achieve the desired effect). Add a few drops of essence of oil and mix, mix, mix (til desired "smell" is achieved).
Fill your glass container stopping an inch below the rim. Push a tea-lite candle into the center of the salts. Place a lace doily on top and attach with a ribbon tied round.

I have even put them in a coffee cup and attached a pouch of gourmet tea under the ribbon. I told my friend: Pour the salts in your bath, place the tea-candle by your bath, fix yourself a nice cup of tea in the cup and enjoy a relaxing time on me!
