It is snowing down here in Corpus Christi as well, though maybe a little less.

I just walked outside, it's snowing pretty good, I was thinking it was just going to be a pitiful little snow, but the snow is piling up pretty good.

edit: I went out barefoot by the way, feet went numb. lol

It's now snowing heavily here (south of Houston, near NASA) and the 10:00 weather news is projecting as much as 4 inches of snow overnight.

We had an inch or so a few days ago, but the thunderstorm Thursday melted it all. There's not a trace of that crap here. If this is global warming, bring it on!

OTOH, I DID get the email addresses for Snow Miser and Heat Miser, so be prepared for anything down thar in Dixie. :D

We went from NT's (My Dad) house to some friends of ours and while we were there, the snow came down, mixed with some sleet now and then and the ground is now covered in white. According to the Houston Chronicle, there has never been a white Christmas in Houston. Well we all actually live south of Houston and it is white now. The drive home from our friends house was like a winter wonderland, my wife and I really enjoyed it, even the roads were covered in snow bringing back Yankee memories for both of us.:claps:

conservatour's brother called this morning (they live in the Texas City area) and told us that the ground is covered with snow and there are 6 inch drifts around their house. Our grandkids made a snowman last night and they made another one this morning. Our grandkids were torn between opening presents and playing in the snow. At 11:30 last night, their whole neighborhood was out playing in the snow amd making snowmen.

We didn't have enough snow to cover the grass, but it sure looked pretty this morning.
