What kind of Ham do you like for the Holidays?

We love the glaze spiral cut hams; it practically melts in your mouth! During the grocery store strike last year, one could buy a good size ham for $10.00, now they are selling for $30.00 +!

Give me a brown sugar cured ham any day. My father used to do a brown sugar brined smoked ham that was incredible. Unfortunately, I don't currently have a good smoker, so I'm stuck with buying my hams from a national award winning butcher shop that does a good, but not great ham, IMO. My wife cooks it with a cherry/apricot/honey glaze that is nothing short of wonderful.
