1. What was the most embarrassing thing that happened to you at a grocery store?

The most embarrassing that has ever happened in our family actually happened at WalMart. We were coming from the back of the store to the check-out when my Bubba had some strong stomach pains. He quickly left me (with my son in the shopping cart) to go to the restroom. I proceeded to the check-out and got in line. Soon my son spotted my husband coming out from one of the aisles. As he approached my son yelled out at the top of his lungs, "Daddy, did you go poo-poo?" Needless to say, Bubba turned down another aisle like he wasn't even with us and I was left with the embarrassment and the explaining to my son how that was an inappropriate time to inquire about his Daddy's absence. LOL

2. What was the funniest thing that happened to you at a mall?

My mom and I were out shopping with my children when they were little. My son began misbehaving badly enough to warrant a sharp swat on his tush, which I proceeded to oblige him with. As I did and was so engaged, my mother caught the glare of another shopper and overheard this shopper complaining about my choice of discipline for my child. My mom quickly stepped in front of me and defended my right to give my child an attitude adjustment. The funny part? The look on that other woman's face as my Mom said to her, "I dare you to call Child Services!" LOL

3. Describe three things you like about yourself.

One: my spontaneity
Two: my ability to be a "shade off normal"
Three: I am a good mother and wife

4. What is the best thing about your life right now?
I'm saved!

5. What is your favorite kind of music?

Fun music -- I grew up listening to, and was taught to appreciate, all forms of music. Dad had Boston Pops, Aretha Franklin, Buck Owens, Chuck Mangione, and Helen Reddy among so much more. The best music, in my opinion, is uplifting not depressing, has a good beat, and generally makes one feel good when listening to it.

6. If you had to choose between being in a choir and being in a play, what would you choose?

Oh DEFINITELY a play -- I am a natural born ham! I LOVE to act. I actually have been considering auditioning for a small local theater group. Haven't gotten the nerve up yet, though. Been in lots of plays during school, and at church. Even wrote one of my own.

7. What is one talent most people here don’t know that you have?

:blush: I enjoy writing poetry, I once won a dance contest:eek: , and I'm really good at RISK.:D

I was working in one at the time. I went to set an item on the top shelf while standing on the lowest to reach and everything on all shelves of the section came crashing down. OOPS!!

Well i was pushing the cart and like any dumb teenager i decided to ride it, but when i jumped and came down i missed where i was gonna put my feet. So i fell flat on my tuckus and had a bunch of people staring at me.

Lol... there was an anti-bush protest going on at the mall, and me and my friend(who is conservative, and jsut so happens to own a mega-phone) we decided to "drop by" Man i can still remember the look on their faces when i called them liberal weiners like on the flash cartoon "This Land" from jib-jab. I wish i had brought a camera!

3. Describe three things you like about yourself.
My color-blindness(it makes me unique, not retarded), my ability to act, and my ability to get along with people.


4. What is the best thing about your life right now?
I'm going to heaven to be with my Father, and Kayla(the love of my life)

6. If you had to choose between being in a choir and being in a play, what would you choose?
A play any day! I'm in theatre right now. I'm the lead in The Crucible(John Proctor for all of you who don't know) If you live close to riverside come check it out! I'm so involved in theatre, i'm the Thespian Treasurer! w00t!

My wife makes this incredibly tasty and simple beer bread (beer, self-rising flour and sugar). She sent me to the store to pick up some supplies for a church BBQ we were hosting and on the list was a six-pack of beer. The checker made comment about all of the paper plates, napkins, etc., asking me if I was having a BBQ. I said "Yes, we're having a church function at our house." It was then that she got to the beer and said "I think that I'd like your church."

2. What was the funniest thing that happened to you at a mall?
MALLS BAD!!!

Blues.

6. If you had to choose between being in a choir and being in a play, what would you choose?
A choir. No memorization required.

I used to be very vocal about other drivers. When standing in a line at the check out, my 5 year old daughter saw someone in front of us doing something dumb. She asked me in a very loud voice, “Daddy, is that an idiot?”

My son had just learned that if someone grabs you, you just holler, “You’re not my daddy!” I used to enjoy grabbing my children’s arms and start singing loud in crowed places. My son started screaming…”You’re not my daddy” Boy did I have to shuffle!

1. What was the most embarrassing thing that happened to you at a grocery store?
At the time we thought it was funny, but looking back on it I realize it wasnt. Me and my best bud had been drinking fairly heavy all day and my sister asked us to go to the grocery store with her. For some unexplainable reason we thought it would be funny to put her in the cart and push her around the store like she was a small child. The Store manager asked us to leave and never come back.

Without a doubt my wife of the last 18 and a half years.

When our daughters where really young, the youngest would be in the seat of the shopping cart, and the older one would hang onto the side of the cart as I am pushing it. While I am shopping the oldest daughter would add stuff to the cart without me seeing her do so. When I got the checker, I had all of this "stuff" I didn't want. <O:p

I have been researching genealogy for over 30 years. I just gave my brother-in-law a book I have been working on for over 4 years. Since I hit a brick wall, my research has stalled. I love the research even though it makes me crazy. Guess it’s the adrenalin that keeps me going.

1. What was the most embarrassing thing that happened to you at a grocery store?
I grabbed the wrong shopping cart and shopped for some time putting more and more groceries in it. This was probably 20 min. Till I noticed that there was a purse in the shopping cart.
I freaked.... I went to the customer service counter and told them what happened they made announcement like three times before anyone came to claim the purse. Then the lady was all upset with me and wanted to call the police and all because she thought I tried to steal it. The store manager got upset with the lady because she was blowing it out of proportion and she finally dropped it.

2. What was the funniest thing that happened to you at a mall?
Back when you could smoke in a mall. I was sitting in the smoking area and I butted my cig out in the soil of the garden bed they had next to the sitting area. This was all inside. I left and was shopping in another store when the fire sirens go off.
My Cig caught the Mulch on fire and set the planting on fire along with some of the Decorations. I Left the mall quickly and never came back. Nobody was injured nor was there any damage to the building except for the nasty smoke smell.
I learned from that.

3. Describe three things you like about yourself.
Punctual, Very Kind person, very personable

4. What is the best thing about your life right now?
Been having a pretty rough time the last six months or so fortunately it's driving my wife and I closer.

5. What is your favorite kind of music?
Acoustic

6. If you had to choose between being in a choir and being in a play, what would you choose?

2. What was the funniest thing that happened to you at a mall? - This happened to my wife, but I'm going to tell it anyway. When my youngest son was at the age between toddler and prudence (thinking before saying things out loud), he was being led through the women's intimate clothing section of a department store. He blurted aloud: "Mommy! Look at all the nipples!"
3. Describe three things you like about yourself. - 1. A fair talent for writing, which I use in letters to the editor. 2. A good "ear" for literature. 3. My family.
4. What is the best thing about your life right now? - Definitely the family thing.
5. What is your favorite kind of music? - Gregorian chant, Mozart, and The Beatles.
6. If you had to choose between being in a choir and being in a play, what would you choose? - I wish I had a talent for singing, but I don't. I have, however, been in numerous plays in my lifetime.
7. What is one talent most people here don’t know that you have? - Acting, I guess (see #6). The one talent my wife has is an uncanny ability to help me recite my lines with better character.
