Hit the link above and read this story. There is so much to learn and discuss here. The upshot of the story is that a young man was encouraged by a friend to pay Russian Roulette, and he lost. .357
His family sued the other kid, alleging negligence, which of course triggered his parents' homeowners coverage with liability limits of $100,000.
The in's and out's of the story are so typical of my work, as is the ending, that I thought I'd put it up here for discussion.
1. Should a plaintiff in this situation be allowed to sue others for his injury.
2. Who says juries run away. Sometimes the lawyers and insurers chicken out.
