I spent a lot of time looking up some sites for Texan and Freedumb about fascism, socialism and so on the other day. Texan never bothered to reply and freedumb apparently got kicked out before he could reply. I can't understand why this forum would kick somebody out when people are still trying to talk to him, especially when they're taking the time to find and post links and so forth. That seems kind of rude to me, at least toward the people who are taking the time to find and post information. I guess I just don't understand the ropes around here.

So I tried to post a few things that I hoped would be of broad interest to freedom loving, loyal Americans who lare grateful for this wonderful country and revere our troops for their amazing bravery and dedication, but apparently most of you are more interested in what's going on with the Hollywood crowd and bumper stickers. I'm not criticizing that, but it isn't my interest, so I'll bid you all farewell.

But I will say that Doctor Doom is one of the most impressive posters I've ever come across. Keep up the good work.:claps: James' work on the 2nd amendment isn't too shabby, either.

Unlike DUh, we don't ban people lightly. However, Freedumb spent quite a while here being a real pain in the ass. He never actually debated anything, and insulted America at every opportunity. We swamped him with information backed up with verifiable sources, and he blew them off. He'd have done the same thing to your efforts.

We are tolerant, but he finally wore out his extended welcome.

As for Texan, who he? I'm having a senior moment. :D

Do reconsider your decision, but Godspeed if you don't wish to do so.

I too am sorry to see Ruff go. I do wonder, however, how much of a fair-shake was given to FC considering s/he hasn't even completed a full month of membership. I do believe the site is worth giving a little bit more time.

Fox wasn't rude Prez. He was honest. Ruff, I hope you change your mind. FreeDumb had been here for quite a long time before you came along. He was banned because he violated board policy on more than one occasion. He was given many chances.

Sorry to see you go, Ruff. Do re-consider. Freedumb had a very bad habit of starting something and then answering people with wise ass remarks and totally mindless subject matter. As Warlady said, he had numerous chances but failed miserably. I personally called him out more than once and he wouldn't show with more than another wise crack. It's honorabe you tried to help him but he needs to learn to help himself first.

Actually FreeDumb was given a lot more leeway, IMO. The mods were very patient!

And Fox wasn't rude. It's a fact you HAVE to have a thick skin. I get hate mail every week and I'm "nothing." I cannot imagine the amount someone with say, Ann Coulter's exposure, gets.

That's a load. Big league? You've got people here who can't even spell, conspiracy theorists and egomaniacal big fish/little pond types such as yourself, which is a shame for the educated, nice people who are here. Most of the dialogue here is bitching about what the left is doing based on articles instead of people writing anything original that's of any length or depth, so don't tell me about "Big league". You bitch about the poor quality of the mainstream media, but then you post an article from one of their sources that pertains to the left's latest political or cultural obscenity and run with it for another couple pages of bitching because you accept it as accurate. You accept everything published as accurate without any analysis as to its objectivity or supporting evidence. Very few people here seek more information. But let some important things come along that conservatives can actually do something about besides vote every two years and pffft. Nothing.

Yes, I've seen better, and I'm going back there. The berating of Magnummom on the Schlafly thread was disgraceful and your conduct on that thread was some of the worst I've ever seen from an administrator on a conservative board. Ruff, don't go. Tough it out. There is a light at the end of the "newbie" tunnel, rough starts happen. I haven't found anything you have said worth fighting so hard over :)
