New research shows water evaporation levels may be dropping across the world.

The research goes against predicted trends in global weather.

The temperatures on Earth have increased by an average 0.15 per cent over the past 50 years, but research by Professor Graham Farquhar and Dr Michael Roderick from the Australian National University shows the amount of water being evaporated has dropped.
