Yeah, I guess so. We're off to Las Vegas in the morning. Don't ask how I was talked into this one......nevermind flying there. :eek:

Just a note too, I don't watch the TVLand Channel , so I haven't seen any of this stuff for years.

Luuuuuuuuuuucy of course. I grew up on Luuuuuuuuuuuuuuuucy!!! TV only really got started when i was a baby.


2. Who is your favorite character from Gilligan's Island?

Gilligan. I also remember that my younger brother (over 7 years younger) watched the reruns so much too, that my mom was ready to nuke the TV. :D

Lucy! She was what made the show.

Gilligan. I loved his bumbling and screwing up. Reminded me of my brother-in-law.

Pierce for his constant humiliation of Major Burns.

Schultz. So gullible he was and so funny in the process.

Ethel -- she reminded me of my best friend in high school, Anna, who I was ALWAYS talking into crazy schemes, plans, and trouble.

2. Who is your favorite character from Gilligan's Island?
Probably Mary Ann, because I wanted to be her -- she was pretty, kind of niave, and sweet. All things I am not.

Radar -- such a sweetie-pie

Of course EVERYONE loved Sgt. Schultz, but my absolute fav was Cpl. Peter Newkirk played by Richard Dawson, cuz he was cute. I never went for the 'star' of the show -- what does that say phsychologically about me, I wonder, LOL

5. Who is your favorite character from All in the Family?

Lionel Jefferson, son of the neighbors George & Louise Jefferson -- he ALWAYS made Archie look bad, and Archie never caught on.

6. Who is your favorite character from Green Acres?

Mr. Haney -- I loved to listen to his voice, and to watch him demolish Mr. Douglas with his buffoonery

7. Who is your favorite character from The Mary Tyler Moore Show?

Georgette Baxter (Ted's wife) or Sue Ann Nivens -- Georgette for her sweet nonsense, and Sue Ann for her spitfire.

It would have to be Ricky! He should be made a saint for all he put up with.

I always liked the Skipper. He, too, should have been eligible for sainthood. Gotta love it when he smacks Gilligan with his hat!

:moo: Ethel, for the way she could roll her eyes at Lucy's latest wacko scheme, & say, "SO?"

:moo: Mary Ann. She was so underrated. I thought she was prettiër than Ginger, & a lot perkiër.

:moo: Hot Lips. Although, Major Burns was also a real hoot.

:moo: General Burkhalter. I just love his line, "Ve might vin ze var yet, even viz Klink on our side." It was amazing the way he always made Klink jump & I loved his voice.

:moo: Edith. She could deliver a line so beautifully, especially the look in her eyes, when somebody said something she didn't understand.

:moo: Lisa. It was funny to hear her describe the corn "shoosting" up to the skies, & talking to Alice, one of her chickens.
