Excuse me but I need to vent. Today (feb 18) was my oldest daughters 18th birthday. As a special treat we took her out to eat at a nice resturant in Dallas. While we were in the resturant someone smashed out the back window of my truck and stole her birthday gift. A 20 inch TV with a built in VCR, that she asked for to use in her dorm next year at Auburn. I Friggin Hate Dallas. These scumbags have given her an 18th birthday she will never forget ------ for the wrong reasons.

Well, I hope the TV explodes in their face and blinds them. And no, I don't need to hear that a TV tube IMPLODES, either.
I hope the police find the momma's boys, Unk. Blinded beyond repair.

Unk,
I am so very sorry for you, your daughter, your family. What a horrible thing to happen on such a special day. Please forgive me if this sounds weird, but I am so very grateful that you and she (and your family) were not hurt, that no harm came to that which cannot be replaced. Take joy in knowing that God has given her a much better gift that the telly, anyway -- a father (and family) who loves her so very much they are willing to celebrate no matter what the world throws at them.
Happy birthday to 18 year old Unk-ess! May God bless you (all) in ways much greater than anything material taken from you.
Many Blessings,
Hms

Unk, if you have homeowner's insurance they will pay for it and the damage on your truck. Were there any witnesses? Did the restaurant have security videos? I sure hope they're caught. Karma will come back on them trust me. I hope you were able to get her another TV.

It aint the financial loss that pisses me off so much. Yes, Insurance will cover our losses and even if it did not I think we could cover a TV. It's the fact that some little scumbag that is too dang lazy to work for a living succeded in spoiling her 18th birthday. No matter what else happened Friday, that is what she will remember about her 18th.

I think that is what I would call a "heads or tails" situation. Should I allow the momma's boy to blow my head off, or should I stick that gun up his ass and pull the trigger? With my luck, the coin would land "tails".
