:moo: I don't know whether or not Punxsatawney Phil saw his shadow (I seem to recall hearing that he did), but the weather here is already getting spring-like. Xane is already bugging us to take him to the beach, & it's hard to explain to a 4-year-old who's never been there, that the water would still be too cold. At any rate, with the days getting longer, & the weather getting nicer, it will soon be time to enjoy the beautiful weather.

1. What is your favorite hat?
Ooo-ooo, I LOVE hats!! My current favorite (because of the cold weather), is my black faux-fur hat (VERY warm and toasty!) The one I wear the most (when it's not cold), is my royal blue terrycloth hat -- looks like a fuzzy bowler hat. I am ALWAYS up for a new hat!

2. How many pets do you have?
Currently? It's most usually like a zoo around our house. Here's the count as of today 2/20/05:
one rottweiller (Holly-Terror)
one min-pin/Jack Russell mix (Taffy-Candy)
one Savannah Monitor (Toga)
one Thoroughbred gelding (Willy-or-Won'ty)
one fence lizard (unnamed, because we plan on reintroducing it to the wild when rehabilitated)
We have mice and crickets too -- but they are actually food for the lizards so we don't name them, :D

3. Where do you get your groceries?
Usually a local haunt called Hitchcock's Foodway -- but my preference is Publix (it's just so far away I don't get there often).

4. What is your favorite convenience store?
It's called Lucky-Seven. Home-owned by some locals in our small town.

5. Who would you most like to be able to sing like?
An angel . . . instead of the loud elephant I actually DO sing like, LOL. I have been told I sound like Cher or Helen Reddy at full volume.

6. What would you have been named, had you been born of the opposite gender?
Probably John (as that is my Dad's name, and my Grand-dad's name).

7. Do you have an "internal compass" (the ability to tell N, S, W, & E)?
I couldn't find my way out of a wet paper bag with both ends cut out, pointed in the right direction, with a compass in my right hand and directions in my right -- does that answer the question? :smirky:

1. What is your favorite hat?

I have a collection of racing caps. One with #88, Nascar, Bad Girls Racing, one that says, 'Bad ass toys aren't just for boys', Bigfoot (Monster truck), and some political hats. I don't wear often; I just love to collect.

2. How many pets do you have?

Right now, none.

3. Where do you get your groceries?

At Aldis or Cub Foods.

4. What is your favorite convenience store?

BP's. They are the only convenience store around that stocks 24 ounce coffee cups!

5.Who would you most like to be able to sing like?

I can't sing! So I'd love to sing like anyone who can.

6. What would you have been named, had you been born of the opposite gender?

Probably Alan or Rob.

7. Do you have an "internal compass" (the ability to tell N, S, W, & E)?

I sure do! It is why I can usually find my way around new cities and towns without maps.

7. Do you have an "internal compass" (the ability to tell N, S, W, & E)?
The only internal compass I have directs me to the nearest Subway (sandwich, not transportation) and bookstores.

LOL LOL! I said sing like him, not talk like him! I saw him in 1988 in concert. Great show! I personally like his singing voice even if he can't utter a coherent sentence in normal conversation. Talent or not, he's made more moolah from his singing than I will ever make at my 2 jobs.
