Well, I recieved a PM from Peach that dPrasse was in my neck-of-the-woods making a delivery. Well, after some PMing and a phone call, I met him for lunch. It was a high honor to meet a fellow Freecer.
For those who don't know, dPrasse doesn't post alot as he's on the road but he is the lucky man to wear the title of "Diane's Significant Other."

We chatted and Liberal bashed just a little and spoke of our "significant others." No, Peach, he spoke very sweetly of you. *whispers in Peach's ear* "I think he's afraid of you.":D j/k

Then, in an effort to save him some driving time, I gave him a few driving directions. Not very often I meet an online friend but I will always cherish the opportunity.
Prasse, if you see this, it was a pleasure to meet you.:thumb:

Bwaahahahah!!!! He thinks I'd kick his ass otherwise eh?

Very nice of you to give him directions. I'd have steered him the wrong way. No I'm kidding!!!! ;)

I'm really glad you both got to meet. Dave has the utmost respect for fellow Freecers and misses his time on FC.

Nah, he's not lucky. :) People pity him.

But, I just heard from him and he says Beo, you're ok. Meeting you made an otherwise mucked up week worthwhile. :thumb:

Hi Beo !
nice meeting you too ...would have stayed longer , but that snow sounded nasty ...and it was ... drove right into it ... me and a few big trucks pushed on to the west at 45 mph for a few hours til fatigue set in around 10 PM ...( a trucker was killed in an accident on I80 in PA )...glad I took the more expensive Northern route on I 90 ...
holed up in Syracuse NY ...woke up the next morning to a setting full moon in the west , a sunrise in the east and snow falling on me !! goofy durn weather !

I'll look you up again next time I swing up your way ...

That's great! I met up with Chris at a support the troops thing Glenn Beck had. It was a honor to meet the fine lady. dPrasse if you ever are in Philly let me know.
I grew up in Syracuse, spent my High school Years in Baldwinsville.

:moo: Ah, the memories you bring back. I can recall driving through Hurricane Andrew. Fortunately, I was in north Louisiana, away from the coast. And I once drove through a storm in northeastern Oklahoma that was, unknown to me at the time, spawning killer tornadoes in Oklahoma & Kansas. (I don't guess the Nowata public school district ever found that missing bus. Fortunately, school had just let out for the summer.) Oh, & the ice storms in the west.

:moo: Well, anyway, if you're ever in East Texas, don't hesitate to look me up.

Maybe we should settle on eventually, someday having a big texas BBQ at Warlady's house?

Unless there's any objections...

Time will tell

Remy Martin XO is only an approx cost of $130 bucks round these parts Curtman (thats in Hood River Oregon)

If I had my druthers I'd get Remy Martin King Louis the XVIIIth Riserva Cognac, its ONLY an approx $1,000 per bottle.

O But I betcha that Cognac would be Sooooooooooo smooooothe as silk!!

(remember cognac is drank warm)

Remy martin XO is the next best thing.

Gotta love how smoothe it is (I got so spoiled on that one-time cruise I had with my mother in 1998, we went through the panama canal while it was still under US control.)

I got too spoiled, Remy martin Cognac, Sevruga Mallosol caviar on toast points, escargot smothered in garlic, tuna steaks, and boiled crab and more... *sighs* too much food and not enough tummy room to eat it all.

Dont forget they had seriously good desserts, dutch tulips with chocolate mousse inside, cherry flambees OY vey!

Me go soft? NEVER!! Just varying my tastes. I also have recipes for War Nog, a Ferengi Starduster, Klingon Martini and a Cardassian Drink.

:flame: Am I going soft?! Rink, I'm insulted. Never insult a Klingon's honor.

Okay, now Beo,
I'M A Trekie too --- you better save some of that good stuff for me! (But can you make mine the non-alcoholic kind?? LOL) I'll be the designated starship driver -- starship, flagship, battle-cruiser, bird-of-prey, I'll drive ANYTHING . . . long as you let me drive! Everybody around these parts are always hidin' my keys . . . think they're tryin' to tell me somethin'?

I think a reunion is a fabulous idea!

Yes, I have virgin recipes of some of those drinks....but what's the point there?

And yes, you may pilot my Bird of Prey anytime. Catch is, you MUST shoot at Rink at least once!:D

Let's put it this way, it'll be better off for all of us if I stick to the safe stuff, LOL. Besides, it'll be much more fun for me as the designated driver, cuz believe me after I get behind the wheel, you'll SWEAR I am on the hard stuff, LOL :D

And yes, you may pilot my Bird of Prey anytime. Catch is, you MUST shoot at Rink at least once!:D

No worries, mate, you let me drive, I'll shoot at anything that moves, and aim for it too! :thumb:

By the way, Beo, you ever been to the Star Trek Experience in Las Vegas? I wanna go SOOO bad!
