Is there such a thing? A Scout leader at our church needs helpers when the Scouts go to the range to shoot. He said he heard there was a certification that you can get from the NRA and he hoped to get some adult helpers who have that certification.

The NRA has many gun safety courses. They teach police departments. The best approach is to go to the local sportsmen's club and ask a few questions. He might also check with the PD to see if they have info on them.

As Doctor Doom mentioned PH there are many NRA firearms saftey instructors that should be available to help especially if it envolves the Scouts. You might also try the Friends of the NRA chapter in your area.
