OK forgive me, this is a completely frivolous post, but I needed it today, things are kinda sad and blue here with Terri Schiavo's struggle, and the death of a friend Monday in a car wreck. My brother is a Navy officer based at Pearl Harbor, and deployed to Bahgdad right now. God willing he will get home safe for his wedding to his sweetheart in November. Anyway I was checking rates at the military hotel Hale Koa in Honolulu. I love their music at their website. If you want a little lift try this site :wave:

Unfortunately it looks like my husband (Reservist) will be deployed late August so he will miss spending this special time with us. For those that don't know Hale Koa is a hotel exclusively for the use of active and retired military and their dependents, and is a whale of a good deal. Prices are based on rank. We ate a meal there once 3 years ago when my family gathered for Christmas.
