ATLANTA (AP) - A federal appeals court early Wednesday agreed to consider a petition for a new hearing on whether to reconnect Terri Schiavo's feeding tube.

The ruling by the 11th Circuit Court of Appeals came as the severely brain-damaged woman entered her 13th day without nourishment.

Please let them issue a restraining order on the Forced Starvation of Terri. Then we can have a FULL review of the case. We can get it out of the hands of this idiot Judge.

I'd be happy if they bloody re-insert the feeding tube and get that poor woman re-hydrated.

If anything use the morphine drip and use saline to help get it started!!

I say it's too late. Terri's been starved and dehydrated for far too long already and we all know how long courts take.

I'm with Beo on this. I think it's too late for her body to recover from being starved to death. Bodily functions have been shutting down and there may be damage to her vital organs that are beyond repair. WL was a nurse and she knows a lot more about this than I do, maybe she has some information for us.

Terri's a tough ol' broad. The last time they tried to kill her she was without the feeding tube for 2 whole weeks. They need to hurry. I thought if the 11th circuit agreed to hear the review that the feeding tube was automatically reinserted. That's what they said on Fox news this morning.

If it was reinserted, let's hope her body can take the shock.

If they're going to review her case then they have to reinsert the tube. They should have already done so.

WL, I've seen you state this on several occasions and have corrected you on several of them, but apparently you insist on continuing to get it wrong. This is not a personal attack, just pointing out an issue you keep repeating.

The last time Terri Schiavo's feeding tube was removed, it was out for 6 days and not two weeks.

As for the tube's reinsertion on this occasion, it would not be automatic. It would still require approval of the Temporary Restraining Order (TRO), though if the court were to agree to hear the review, it would only make sense to approve the TRO.

Well then you need to correct her parents and all the reporters as well.

Though the wording of the events is understandably biased, the dates should be reasonably accurate on the timeline (http://terrisfight.org/timeline.html) at TerrisFight.org.

Terri Schiavo's feeding tube has been removed twice previously, once in 2001 for 2 days (4/24 - 4/26) when it was ordered reinserted by a judge and once in 2003 for 6 days (10/15 - 10/21) when it was reinserted as a result of "Terri's Law".

11th Circuit just ruled they will not rehear the case.

If it were possible they should sued or punished for cruel and unusal punishment. This is BS, stating they will consider whether or NOT they will rehear the case. Then saying several hours later after consideration they will not hear it.

THIS IS CRUEL!

This is evil.
