Does anyone know why underneath someone's user name, it has their status (i.e., Donor, Member, Administrator, Moderator, etc.) with a line drawn thru it? I dunno -- just kinda bothers me.

It doesn't do it with Opera. What browser are you using?
The line in question uses <b>< div class="smallfont">Word< /div></b>
The "Smallfont" class is defined as follows:<pre><font size="2">.smallfont<br>{<br> font: 11px verdana, geneva, lucida, 'lucida grande', arial, helvetica, sans-serif;<br>}</font></pre>It's also used in other places. Do you see the same effect elsewhere? If so, maybe it's the way your browser is responding to the code.

I get this as well with Firefox. Does not happen with IE though. The line is supposed to be closer to your user name. No big deal for me though. I would rather see the strike through then use IE......

User names are clickable links. Most browsers can underline them to make them stand out. Browsers typically default underlining to ON. This is for Firefox. Go to the General Options window.

Click on "Fonts and colors".

Uncheck the box next to "Underline links" and see if it goes away. If it does, it's how Firefox is responding to the board's HTML.

It is some sort of bug with this board's html and Firefox, however no where else on the board does this happen.
You can see in the following 2 shots, that no the wierd underline thing happens to any other link on the board, only the member name. Wierd....

It's evidently in the specific code used for the username with the status below it. It's apparently an anomoly with Firefox, but it would be interesting to see if other FF users get the same effect.

That got rid of the underline for the names. Thanks Doc.
