Bad Boys II

I just watched this movie and it was pretty good except when Will Smith attacked a young, clean cut, well dressed boy who had arrived to take his partner's daughter out on a date and Will Smith pointed a gun at this poor 15 year old kid and shouted the "N" word no less than 20 times. It was sickening. It ruined the entire movie...well almost. It was still a damn fine movie but that was so unnecessary. Not only that they must have used the F word at least 500 times in the course of the entire movie. Why does Hollywood feel the need to do that? The movie would have been so much better without it.

They think they're being "real." It doesn't seem to occur to liberals that not all of reality is desirable. A single "fock" here or one "nigger" there can represent their multiple uses in reality and, as you noted, improve the enjoyability of a movie. It would be even better if they represented such words by stand-in, proxie words. We all know this language is used all the time, but that doesn't mean it has to be rubbed in our faces because most of us don't like it. It's like the stink on a dead body after the bowels and bladder have released. We don't have to smell it to know what death is.

The biggest problem with BB2 is that the movie was way too long. A popcorn movie should be 90 minutes, not two and a half hours. It was sickening. I thought it was funny, with smith playing the "overprotective father" role for Lawrence. Kind of like "10 rules for dating my daughter." Respectfully suggesting that unless the movie is Lord of The Rings, you should avoid stretching it longer than two hours,

The movie was ruined because Smith and Lawrence were in it.

I didn't have a problem with them, just their foul language. Every other word doesn't have to be f**k and n****r to make it a good movie. As a matter of fact cutting the cussing would have made it so much better.

Excuse me S-T but it wasn't funny. I guess we just have different opinions on what we liked and didn't like about the movie. :) I'm not going to argue with you about this. It's just a movie. I only argue about politics. :) And the length of the movie has nothing to do with my chief complaint.I thought the thread was about BB2, so I was expressing my own chief complaint about the movie.
