I cannot STAND Ben Stiller. Of course, I am not a big fan of "rude" comedy anyway (that's the only genre title I can think of to describe "those kinds" of movies).
The only Ben Stiller movie I have enjoyed was Mystery Men, and even that was only minimally enjoyable. I don't like Jim Carrey movies, or those like Police Academy or Naked Gun. Airplane was alright (kinda funny).
I think the only stupid funny movies I liked were:
Weekend At Bernie's (and me and Bubba laughed so hard we were rolling on the floor with tears coming out of our eyes), most anything by Adam Sandler (except Little Nicky), and The Whole Nine Yards/Ten Yards (sooo funny!). Oh, and I like Owen Wilson, too.
Looking forward to seeing the Pink Panther remake with Steve Martin (yeah, I like his stuff too ... The Jerk was hilarious.)

Zoolander was hillarious, so was Dodgeball, they weren't bad.

CP, Dodgeball was hysterical!
Boy this is a toughie with the "politics aside." But here's mine and the movie they were in that influenced my decision.
Actresses:
Meryl Streep (Silkwood)
Michelle Pfeiffer (Married to the Mob)
Kim Basinger (Cellular)
Drew Barrymore (Home Fries)
Gina Gershon (Face/Off, Driven)
Julianne Moore (Laws of Attraction/Lost World)
Sharon Stone (The Quick and the Dead)
Amanda Peterson (Can't Buy Me Love)
Who???? Yes I know.... I was an extra in Can't Buy Me Love as well as Quick and the Dead, Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure, and American Anthem. It was a truly different experience and Amanda was a delight on AND offscreen. She's one of the hardest working actresses I've seen, bar none. It's a shame she elected to quit her career.
Actors:
Mel Gibson (Payback)
Sean Astin (Memphis Belle, Lord of the Rings)
Eddie Murphy (Beverly Hills Cop)
Dennis Quaid (Frequency)
Harrison Ford (Empire Strikes Back, Indiana Jones)
Ronald Reagan (Hellcats of the Navy)
Tommy Lee Jones (Fugitive)
Patrick Swayze (Red Dawn)
There's one movie that affected me personally because it hit home very much so, called "Safe Passage." (One of the movies Hollywood completely snubbed.) I just loved everyone in it: Robert Sean Leonard, Marcia Gay Harden, Nick Stahl, Sean Astin, Matt Keeslar, (the soldier sent overseas) and oh gawd I'm embarassed to say this. It's like pulling teeth!!! But if I must.... Sam Shepard and Susan Sarandon as the parents. They were outstanding!

The worst thing is when one of my favorite actors stars in a horror movie. I CAN NOT STAND horror movies. They used to give me nightmares when I was a kid. I don't watch horror movies even when one of my favorite actors stars in one of them.
