Hey Lady, long time no see. You're trying to make us fat!! Sounds yummy. I wonder if you could sub other fruit like blueberries or a mixture of berries? I'm not a real big pear fan but if I did use them would it be okay to use canned pears?

I wolf down pancakes with blueberries bout every other morning. Sometimes I'll crush some walnuts over them in my fist and spread it out over 'em. Or I'll sprinkle on some cinnamon, a hint of molasses, whatever... Mornings are for ad-libbin.

But I make my pancakes real thin. Almost like crepes. Each one covers the entire frying pan. This is so I can fold 'em over burrito-style, keeping the ingredients all nice and tucked in. It is also so I can handle the entire goodness conveniently without cutting it with a fork.

Sometimes I'll use raspberries too. But mostly blueberries. I eat these practically 3X a week, just like I described 'em.

This morning I even threw in some craisins right onto the uncooked side of the pancake as it was forming air holes. Then, I did the blueberry thing and cinnamon and walnut and bannana(cut into razor thin discs) and a tiny bit of powdered sugar thrown on top like yummy fairy dust.

This is one of the reasons why I'm still alive and will continue to remain so... for the pancakes.

You could probably substitute apple slices for the pears very easily. The two are very similar.

Wyatt, what is a crasin? Your version sounds like a fruit fajita without the fajita. Sonarman that sounds even better. I haven't had pancakes in a month of sundays. I may have to have some soon.
