I frequently switch from the "New Posts" section to the "Arcade" section. Then it hit me, I wondered why there weren't ever any threads on the arcades? So, I decided to start one. Just my thoughts on the various arcade games.

The most challenging: Chopper Challenge. My best score is around 600. I don't see how ThomasU did it.

The coolest: AirFox. I like the graphics.

The bloodiest: Bloody Penguin. I kick a outta all the blood and gore every time. It's the most sickening and hilarious thing I've ever seen.

The longest timewise: Recoil. I got second, but it only took 1387 seconds to achieve that little feat. Like Lobo said, "My hand hurts."

The most lame: Snake Shooter. I can't see why anybody would wanna play it.

The easiest: Jigsaw Puzzle. I own the entire top 10.

The most elementary: The Shape Game. Nothing more need be said.

My favorite: Fishy. I at one point broke TheBird's top score, but he bounced right back to break mine. I haven't been able to break his yet, even though I broke the ecosystem plenty of times.

Sometimes I wonder if Coach and TheBird just come for the arcades, and nothing more. Coach has 22 posts, and joined 03-17-2005. While TheBird doesn't get much better proportionally; TheBird has 405 posts, and joined 02-24-2003. But I do believe they are having some sort of competition, either for fewest posts or for more trophies in the arcades. . .Or both.

I like all the Penguin arcades, the graphics are really good in all of them. I don't have a score in paintball yet, because I got too bored the first time. I can't ever figure out how to advance past the third level in Desert Battle, anybody have a clue?

There is a forum on the arcade section? Never noticed! of course, this place is enough to keep up with. I am not much of a gamer, although I enjoy randomly winning non-money in the slots and enjoy throwing suicide puppy around a lot :)

There is a forum to discuss games. It's called Hobbies, Games and Crafts. (http://www.freeconservatives.com/vb/forumdisplay.php?s=&daysprune=&f=54)

I never noticed! Perhaps some mod-god would have the joy to move it there?

I apologize, I should have been paying closer attention and caught this thread. Sorry teenager.

I, myself, have only played a few of the games. I am stuck on the Ron North Jewels game -- I at one time held the top honors but I do believe Wolfcounsel has since de-throned me. I enjoy playing video games with my son on his Playstation 2 and I was an avid arcader back in the day (you know, covered wagons, rubbing sticks to make fire, etc. :smirky: ). My fav's back then were Asteroids, Donkey Kong, PacMan and Kangaroo -- nothing like that on here (unless I have missed them).

Anyhoo, glad you are enjoying the arcade, teen. Might not want to do too much speculating about posters/post counts and the arcade though. That's why we belong to FreeConservatives . . . we're free to participate as we please. Just a suggestion, no offense intended.

I was the all-time Joust champion. I got to the point that I would just walk away from the game because I was getting extra lives faster than I was losing them.

Favorite Games: Chopper Challenge, Snake (not to be confused with Snake Hunter)

Least Favorite: Recoil. What a boring game.

Favorite Games: Chopper Challenge,

I don't see how you got that high score. Chopper Challenge is the hardest game I've played here. :)

I must be cursed. I don't see how people are getting such high scores in the pinku games.... but I love 'em.

My all time faves are the Asteroids, Space Invaders, etc. I do believe many of us Reagan Generation gamers around the age of 30 VIVIDLY remember dropping quarter after quarter into a Pac Man arcade machine or playing hours of Pitfall on our Ataris on the brink of the video game era in the 1980's. My town even had tourneys.

How thrilled I am, beyond belief, to see classic gaming has seen a resurgence of popularity. If I could scrape up the $$$ I'd go attend a classic gaming convention. I'd find my console and bring it. Don't think I could bring my brother's as it's built into his dashboard!

Sorry to hijack the thread, Teenager. I'm so glad you brought up the arcade. :)
