You may have heard of the book, Reagan In His Own Hand, that features the writings of the 20th Century's greatest Prez. This more recent work, Reagan In His Own Voice, is an audio collection of some of his radio broadcasts made from 1975 to 1979. They're presented in chronological order, and the commentators remind us of what was going on around the time of each broadcast.

The most important part for historians is that the scripts for these addresses were found in Reagan's files and were written in his own hand. IOW, he alone was responsible for these pre-Presidency broadcasts. Reagan truly was a genius, and for those who doubt that, listen to these broadcasts. If after listening to these broadcasts you still think Reagan was a simpleton, then frankly, I don't want to know you.

I checked out the collection, Reagan In His Own Voice, for free from the local library, but it's available from Amazon.com on CDs for $18.90 and on cassettes for $16.38.
