Wow HSRU, you have quite a few games of Monopoly!! I just have the standard game. My mom has this one though:

Pretty uptown and fancy (not to mention to spendy for my pocketbook).

On the website you posted they had the Farming Game listed under the Monopoly games. We used to play that too. Hit to close to home though and we sometimes never finished a game!

I unfortunately have a hubby who does not play games at all so I have to wait for the rare time my sis visits in order to play any type of game. I am so deprived. :(

All we have is the original. I hear my mom used to play one game of monopoly that would last all summer, when she and her freinds were in middle school.

Yeah, but I'm not paying $600 for it. I'll just fondle my mom's gold hotels and drool. LOL!

HOW SWEEEEEET! I would LOVE to have that one, it's beautiful!

Actually, looking at the site, made me want MORE games, LOL.

Anti, hun, I am RIGHT there with you. I am the ONLY game player in my home -- all those games, and all the others in my house . . . they are ALL MY games, LOL. NOBODY will play games with me. One year for Christmas my Bubba gave me the Pictionary Game . . . It's STILL in the wrapper because no one will play it with me! Every so often I can talk the kids into a board game, but rarely.

There are a few games I would like to get to add to my collection, but I'll leave those titles for a future Game of the Month thread, LOL.

I'm so embarassed. I'm an Atari girl!

The board games I grew up on were Pictionary, Scattergories, Yahtzee, battle/war games, Axis and Allies, Stratego, etc. No Monopoly, sorry Homes!

When I met dP we talked baseball and I told him I went to high school with Curt Schilling and as Diamond Dolls, we cheered the baseball team on. Well, he (dP) said he knew Curt through his wargames company. I was so surprised! It truly is a small world. Waiting for Shifting Sands....
