Coffee for Roses??

I now have the most beautiful rose garden in town!! True American has made me the most awesome rose garden. I have about 35 rose plants all together with an awesome texas gold mulch. They go down the side fence line and all across the back fence line. They are going to be so beautiful to look at as I'm floating in the pool this summer! Anyway, my mom said that coffee grounds are one of the best things for roses, said she didn't know why but putting coffee grounds around the base make for incredibly beautiful roses! Has anyone else ever heard of this? BTW, he never promised me a rose garden, but I have one!!

And My FAV rose is the Peace Rose with its myriad colors in it from pink, white and majority yellow :D

Rink, I have a regular peace rose and a Chicago peace rose that sounds more like the one you are describing...and yes, I will be more than happy to share my pictures!!

Kewl I got two Peace roses in pots on my deck (I'm afraid to put em in my yard cuz this dern yard is a killer yard thats killed my other roses, herbs and more.)

So I keep my favs on the deck, as I dont wanna loose em like I did my old fav peace rose that i brought from the other house, it was huge and old and I made it thrive TILL it was planted in the yard.

Dadgummed yard killed it :(

SO I keep these two wonderous new beauties on my deck.
