This forum has been given a new identity and a new scope. It was deemed inappropriate to focus a forum on one aspect of 21st-century America when there are a number of issues in today's society and culture that are of deep and abiding concern to Americans.

It will remain the forum for the original topic, but if our members want to address pornography, sexuality, abortion, child abuse, immorality in entertainment, etcetera, this is now the place to discuss them.

Various threads from the main forum will be transfered to this one as deemed appropriate.

Everything ended up in the religion forum because there was no other place to put it. The topics may indeed have a religious aspect, but if they are primarily secular issues, this is their new "home".

To be precise, it's a subforum of "Religion, Culture and Education". Religion and education were well covered. Now culture is as well. It's a good change.

Aight, thanks. Now I know what to do with all those threads I'm planning on doing about sexism!!

Just kidding. But this new culture thing is a good idea. If I ever have a thought about culture I'll be sure to remember this place.
