It was a real movie, displaying real life in a world of fantasy. This movie displayed so much for so many people. It doesn't matter what your backround is you will find something to relate to in this movie. It was amazing! Its deserves Oscars accross the board.

I'm sure it's a great movie but I heard that every single scene beats people over the head with the racism message. Not sure I could sit through another movie made by a limosine liberal Canuck.

Its not liberal. It is realistic. And very well done. You can feel for the characters. Trust me Peach it is excellent. I am making my dad see this movie to purge him of his predjudice against white people. Thats how good it is.
I don't even think I have heard of this movie (I have been pressured lately to go see Madagascar and Kicking and Screaming, so that shows you what movies I get to see..lol). But your dad does not like white people? Really? Why is that?
If I ever get a chance to see a non preteen movie, I will be sure to check it out though :)

I saw it a couple of weeks ago when I was out with my liberal girlfriend. I went in with very low expectations, and thought the first 2/3 of the movie pummelled you with the typical liberal worldview of race, and an antigun subtext infused the entire film.
About 2/3 of the way through, the movie did something interesting. It turned to a redemptive theme. Yes, it continued to be all about race. But it showed people treating each other more-or-less normally, with some interesting results.
When I walked out, I decided it was much better than I had expected going in. I give it three stars. Not light viewing, but worthwhile if you can get past the first half.

TM i was just as stunned walking in. i didn't think it was gonna be about race. But it turned out to be more honest than I expected.
Yes Melz my dad is a bit of a black supremesist. ( and yet he still thinks like so many others that black people can't be racist) I dont know how he ever hooked up with my mother ( yes hooked up- they never really "dated"). He is anti-Zionist, anti- gov't, anti-military, anti-anything he percieves to be white.
I think this movie might help change the way he thinks.

Michael Medved, no liberal, posted a brief but favorable review of Crash on his Eye on Entertainment website. Audio only.
