June's Game of the Month is . . .

A very unique take on the game of Scrabble!
Have you ever played? How well have you done? Are you a master-player?

I actually have this game, and it is very challenging. I, personally, love the English language, and words and etymology are a fun pursuit of mine (the kids HATE when I start talking about language arts, LOL).

Does anyone else have this game? Share your stories!

If you have any suggestions for "Game of the Month" feel free to PM me with your ideas, and I'll add them to the list!

Word Up, y'all!

Laz,
It's really a fun game --- we play for hershey kisses, the one who can make the tallest word stacks wins. It's really a hoot to see the sssssttttttrrrrreeeeetttttccccchhhhhhheeeeeessssss s that are made to "invent" words, LOL.

I always found this type of game boring.
But then again, I am a computer gamer so ehhhh.
Old school meet new school.
Old school and new school back away slowly from each other with guns drawn.

Perhaps upwords is intellectually stimulating but it can't hold a candle to my personal pick for game of the month:

MORTAL KOMBAT! Yes, in upwords you can defeat your opponent by making complicated words IN MANY DIMENSIONS!

BUT

Can you rip out his spine and eviscerate him with it? I think not!

I have tried upwords, I tried to convince the other players that since we were in Texas, we should be allowed to use Texas Spellings.
