Homemade Bath Salts
This is a fun and easy craft that can also double as a very thoughtful, (and inexpensive!) gift. With Summer at our doorstep, thoughts of a nice relaxing bath are certainly enticing.
The "container" can be as fun to make as the salts, too! We have used empty baby food jars, mason jars, and sachet bags (decorating them to dress them up). Use your imagination, you can probably come up with some unique "containers" as well!
So, put some flavor in your life, and
Happy Crafting!
Ingredients:
1 cup fine sea salt
1/2 tsp liquid glycerin (skin moisturizer) (optional)
1/2 cup Epsom salt
Directions:
Mix ingredients well. Sprinkle into bath water anytime you need to be rejuvenated! ( Don't wash hair in this water, it may leave it dry).
