I planted mine about three weeks ago and it isn't coming up very fast. Is it just mine or is everyone's growing slow this year?
Thanks.

Can you provide some details?
What state you are in,
What variety is the corn,
Is the weather cool often,
Etc.
Doesn't corn require a decent amount of rain? We have had about zero rain here, I cannot imagine any of the corn is growing at a pace it should. But I don't know where you are so that may not be an issue.
I cannot even start a veggie garden until next year. Sweet Corn is on the menu though!

If you have a garden hose, why wait for rain?
Tommy, I am not waiting on rain to start the veggie garden, I havent had this house and yard but 9 months..lol. I am waiting on getting the rest of the yard in order. But as for a garden hose, we are talking serious water requirements here just to keep a simple flowerbed alive..lol.
I do wish the best to those working on their veggies, I just have a lot of yard neglect to work out with this new house before i work on that. My first plantings next summer will be asparagus (whatever season you plant such a veggie in, I shall plant it).
Good luck with the veggies, oh ambitious ones :)

Sorry,
I live in Michigan, we have had plenty of rain (not too much, not too little), although it has been rather cool over the last week. And the variety is yellow sweet corn. RH Shumway. It came up it just isn't growing like it did last year.
