I personally gravitate to reading about quantam physics, developing my theroems to write a book. Sometimes I will also do rocketry, a few astrophotography things, and finding all sorts of small tricks to do.
For the bored at heart, try this:
Miniature Rocket
Requirred:
Book of matches
Tin Foil
Paperclip
A pin
A lighter
Cut of a match from the book of matches, then wrap the head with about .8 in (2 cm) square of tin foil. Make sure to wrap tightly! Next, bend your paper-clip so that you have a small launcher-stand. Poke a hole in the middle of your tin-foil with your pin, put your rocket on the launcher, and then heat the tin with the lighter and FWOOSH!
