(CNSNews.com) - Getting Karl Rove is a start, but it's President Bush that some liberals want to bring down.

MoveOn.org's political action committee is questioning President Bush's "failure to act," following reports that Bush's top adviser Karl Rove mentioned "Wilson's wife" to a Time magazine reporter.

"First, in revealing the identity of a covert CIA agent, Rove either knowingly broke the law, or committed an act of gross negligence, said Tom Matzzie, MoveOn PAC's Washington director. "In either case he should resign or the president should fire him.

"Second, the president failed to act upon learning that his chief political adviser blew the cover of a CIA agent."

Matzzie said those "facts" raise questions that President Bush must answer: "What did he know? When did he know it? And why did he fail to act?"

The "what-did-he-know-and-when-did-he-know-it" questions were famously asked of President Richard Nixon during the Watergate era, shortly before he resigned

Bush proved his dedication to the education system on 9/11. He did not waver and made certain that each and every one of those children could read My Pet Goat.

Yes, he should have dashed out of the room and scared the children.

...and his dashing out of the room at that instant would have saved the nation, without question. Those extra few seconds or minutes would have made all the difference.

And you have proved your dedication to simplifying every issue to "I hate Bush"...

This is all just media grandstanding and has nothing to do with any factual investigations... The lefties are fragmenting before our eyes... They are desperately grasping at any straw in their blind hatred of Bush... They dont even know what they stand for anymore...

I want to "Know what the New York Times knows and when they knew it!"

Judith Miller is not sitting in jail because of principles, They have none!

This "Witch hunt" towards Rove is nothing but character assasination...

Is this the weekly talking point for the left?

Lazarus

That's pretty much the size of it Tac... They have no ideas or policies to put forward... They have no plans to save Soc Sec or to deal with illegal immigration... They have no agenda for improving America... They are totally obsessed with bringing down a lame duck president...

I suppose they think if they can attach some semblence of a scandal to him it will sweep a Democrat into the Whitehouse next time... They cant win on the merits of their agenda (since they dont have one) so they resort to trying to get the voting public to have a knee-jerk reaction to a trumped-up scandal...

They are a sad laughable mob of characters...

Who is the source that the NY Times is protecting? Could it be Joe Wilson, himself? Or Leaky Leahy? or Chuckie Schumer? Or is it another liberal Democrat? As Rush pointed out, it's a sure bet that the NY Times's source was not the same source as Time Magazine's source.

I think the left just wants to hurt Bush because they think this will help a Democrat get into the White House next time.

Rush said the other day that the liberals are trying to figure out what their 'core values' are. If you have to figure out what your core values are, you don't have any.

They are that alright. I'm waiting for the `06 election hot air to start circulating. Should be an interesting election, especially if the democrats lose more seats in the House, Senate, States and Governorships. If that happens, they may as well change the name to Socialist Democrats and finally come out of the closet.

I'd like to ask what did Mr and Mrs Wilson know? I think that's the real question we need to ask. The British intelligence seems pretty certain that Niger was selling Saddam Hussein yellow cake. I want to know why Plaime sent her husband to investigate it since they were both adamently opposed to the liberation of Iraq....even in spite of the fact that Bill Clinton had signed the "Liberation of Iraq Act" in 1998. Why did she send her anti-Iraq war husband to Africa? Am I the only one who smells rotten fish here?

Plame and Wilson are like pert near all Washington liberals -- don't look too closely or you won't like anything about them. No principles, for sale to the highest bidder, cash on the barrelhead.

And they smell like week-old cheese. That's how you can always tell a liberal, even with your eyes closed.

Over the years the professional Bush-haters have claimed:

Bush knew about 911 before it happened
Bush knew that Saddam didn't have WMD even though everyone else in the world believed he did for the last decade
Bush knew about the Oil-for-Food Program scandal

For a guy whom they regularly called a "moron" and "stupid", he sure knew a lot of stuff that they didn't know!

Bush is telekinetic. Sees dead people too. He's freaky like that. He's got an antennae in his skull implanted by a thousand points o' light. He can channel any number of inner children without getting billed by DirecTV. Man's elusive in the bob-n-weave dept. I like to call him 'Neo' as he can silence physics and flip in the air, straight up, do a couple cannon balls, ass o'er tea kettle and then land silently like a cat.

What did Bush know? Everything. When did he know it? Before you are I were even ever born.

Bush proved his dedication to the education system on 9/11. He did not waver and made certain that each and every one of those children could read My Pet Goat.
I have wondered several times what the proper reaction should have been. The more I think about it, the more I am convinced that Bush's instincts were correct. It took guts to sit there and have confidence in those around you who were scrambling for information. It took determination to avoid running out in panic, scaring the kids, and screaming in every direction for answers that nobody had yet. The proper authorities were already reacting, trying to determine what was going on. A hundred frantic phone calls from a president in panic would have only made matters worse. Find out what's happening for sure, then react to it. Advice to the ages.

Bush's first instinct was to return to the White House. He was overridden by the Secret Service and others who insisted that, until the nature of the threat was determined, he should remain on Air Force One. For those who don't know, Air Force One has a state of the art communications system. The president is as much in control from there as he is from the Oval Office.

Bush recognized on September 11, 2001 that America was a nation at war. Many to this day have not figured that out. He said from the beginning that this war would be different from any other; that it would be long, costly, and bloody. He said the war would be fought on many fronts, and it has. He said that propaganda and false stories would be a part of it, but that he would always try to be straight with the American people. I don't think he realized that much of the propaganda would come from our own media, directed at Americans on behalf of the terrorists.

There can be no question that the New York Times and Ted Kennedy are giving aid and comfort to our enemies. We knew John Kerry would, he gave aid and comfort to our enemies during the Vietnam War. In fact, the liberals in America have sided squarely with the terrorists in opposition to the interests of America. Yet they dare criticize Bush's immediate response? What about theirs? What about the systematic attacks on everything America has done for the last four years?

Our enemies are vast and coordinated. They are in the mountains of Afghanistan, the streets of Baghdad, and the halls of Congress. Let no one be confused. This is a war. In a war you must destroy your enemy. Sometimes that enemy is in our own back yard.

Indeed, you wanna find a lefty? Look for the tiny hole in the baseboard. And we all know what vermin like to eat. Its all about the cheese, preferably the kind in a can or the crap you can nuke and then dip organic produce into with a tiny yet sophisitcated european fork.

Matzzie said those "facts" Facts? Matzzie has no idea what the facts are that's why there's an investigation, they're trying to find out what the "facts" are. The left is all upset that President Bush didn't jump to conclusions and shoot himself in the foot by firing the guy that helped him pulvarize John Kerry. Last I heard, Rove was on the receiving end of the information regarding this lady super covert under cover spy. I'm suprised she just didn't make herself disappear with some top secret device instead of plastering her face on the cover of magazines and avoid all this hooplah over the real fact that she sent her husband with his liberal agenda to investigate this matter. Remember, The British have stood firm on their intelligence about the Iraqi's visit to Niger. I think her and her husband ought to pay back the American people for his round trip vacation on our dime. He could've written the same cock n' bull story from the comforts of his own home.

I have a question for all liberals going ga-ga over the alleged Rove "scandal": Where were you, righteous guys, when Sandy Burger was stuffing documents incriminating the Clinton adminstration down his pants? You sure pooh-poohed that one in a hurry. But now, you're making a mountain out of a mole hill (that does not exist) because the alleged "criminal" is someone from the Bush administration. You morons couldn't be more obvious if you tried.

Typical double standard. But what else is new?

Democrats have pretty much accepted that Rove broke no laws. Now they want him forced out because he was accused of breaking laws.

MoreOn is incensed that despite their wasting millions of dollars from Georgie Soreass, Bush was reelected and their pet traitor/war criminal was told to go away. The assholes are now obsessed with destroying the president, and they are rapidly slipping into insanity.

A nice vacation in G'itmo would serve as an attitude adjustment.
