I know this is probably of little relevance, but I was just wondering, has anyone else noticed the alarming number of word-plays used in the names of the Star Wars prequels' Neimoidians, the grasping, commerce-mad aliens running the eeeeevil Trade Federation?
Here are a few (as far as I can tell):
Nute Gunray = Newt Gingrich (also, Gunray for Raygun, as in Raygun Ronnie)
Lora Besh, Nute Gunray's mistress = Laura Bush
Senator Lott Dod = Chris Dodd + Trent Lot
There are a couple of others, but that's all I can think of now.
