Did Joe Wilson Also Contribute to Bush's 2000 Campaign ?

I am having an exchange with a liberal friend and I am getting information which I cannot verify.

It is claimed that Wilson cannot be a partisan because he contributed in 2000, to BOTH the Gore *and* Bush campaign.

The intent is to show that Wilson isn't a partisan democrat but someone concerned with exposing the truth.

Can anyone verify that he indeed contributed to Bush ?

He did. It was a way to keep all his options open, just as corporations and all high-level players do. Wilson contributed to many more Dims than he did to Bush.
