Today at camp The Broncos will practice twice today at their Dove Valley complex. Their morning practice will begin at 8:30, with gates opening at 7:30.
Meet . . . Ron Dayne
Yes, meet Dayne - again. He won the Heisman Trophy at Wisconsin, after all, and ended his career with the Badgers as the all-time leading rusher in NCAA Division I-A history (6,397 yards).
But like many Heisman winners, Dayne has found the NFL to be a difficult riddle to solve. He started three games in his past three seasons in a Giants uniform, having been named an inactive for all 16 games in 2003.
Last year, he had 52 carries for 179 yards.
But Dayne said he has found Denver to be the boost he was looking for, that simply getting a legitimate look in training camp has been a long time coming.

Rookie cornerback Darrent Williams didn't know what was more satisfying after the first full practice day at Denver Broncos training camp: the interception that was part of a strong afternoon effort by the defense or the compliment he caught as he walked off the field. "John Lynch came to me after practice and told me I set the tone for the day," Williams said of his famous teammate, whom he has admired through the years for Lynch's bone-jarring hits at safety. "After that, we just started getting turnovers, started wrecking up and stripping balls and getting interceptions."

I want to see what these D linemen from the Browns do for the team.
