In a few days, we'll be switching to DSL from my household. My email will change, and I'm worried that my IP won't be recognized and I'll get bumped from the board.
Can anybody tell me if I'm worried for nothing?

As long as you know your user name and password, you should be fine...I switched from DSL to a cable modem (wish I hadn't done that...long story, don't ask LOL ) and I had no problems.
It doesn't matter what the IP is, unless that particular IP has been "flagged" or banned by the administration. At least, that's what I think happens.

Well, I guess I'm about to find out. Thanks Timber!

You're welcome! I know you're gonna LOVE your DSL...like I said, I wish I hadn't switched over to a cable modem (only did it because it was $20/month less expensive). Now, to take advantage of the savings, I'm (voluntarily) locked in for 18 months.

Somehow the words "voluntary" and "locked in" tweek my brain. But for what it's worth, I'm entering the same "voluntary" agreement with DSL. So if I want to "save", I've gotta stay.
We changed to digital TV. I haven't been sorry for that at all. It didn't change our monthly rate.
